Can’t say enough how much I adored Julia and Scott’s performance this past Friday! Wish I could’ve seen them again last night at the Houston show but it was way too far of a drive for me to go D-:!!!

So. I have one ticket to the opening show in Santa Cruz on the 17th, and one to the San Diego show on October 2nd.
I used to live in Santa Cruz hence why I bought that ticket, but I’ve since moved to SoCal, hence buying the San Diego ticket.
I want to also see them at the Greek in LA so I’d have two back to back shows to attend in October, but I’m bummed about not being in the pit (not willing to pay $250+).
Is it worth it to buy a balcony ticket for the LA show? I mean, I do have a GA ticket for the day before. IDK. Just bummed because I love the GA vibes of it all.
Also I plan on selling my Santa Cruz ticket to a friend but I suppose that’s unrelated.
My long-term partner met a girl start of this year at a growlers Concert (we both went to by the way) and was chatting to her for months. (I don’t care if he sees this). He sent her a birthday card and a record and I believe she cut him off (you go girl!). I feel if this didn’t happen it would have continued. He can’t be honest to himself about his feelings and what it was.
I just found about it but have no idea the real extent etc. I need answers for closure so I can move on. It was all played down and I couldn’t see anything for myself but I feel it was more involved than he makes out and justifies. I am really hurt. We have a family. I need to know if he is still lying to me and wanting me to forgive and forget straight away because there is so much more he isn’t being honest about. Please, M, message me. If I even spoke to anyone he would be so betrayed but he can’t own his actions and minimises it all and wants me to just forget about it.
I can’t see what was said. So much was hidden and deleted and secret. I need to know the truth before it breaks me apart. This is the only hope for our family please. I hold no anger to the girl. It is completely my partners fault and I need to know the truth to force him to be accountable for how badly he has hurt and betrayed me. Our family and marriage will be torn apart if I’m not able to start processing this.

I hope everyone who pre-ordered has received their copies! We had delays due to our designer having surgery and my nan going to hospital for 2 months and passing away on my birthday/the release day of the magazine. It’s been a heavy one and it’s been incredibly hard to get here, but the physical copies finally being in our hands feels surreal. If I’m correct, I think Brooks might have his own copy now, too.
Every order means a great deal – I work a 9-5 and it’s been my dream since I was ridiculously young to release a magazine. I used to cut up my sister’s gossip magazines and make my own, had a whole newspaper called ‘K.News’ I would make and would subsequently be the only reader. To see it being shipped all over the world is insane to me. We even got mentioned in my local paper. That’s something.
That being said, if you ordered a copy, please tag us on Instagram or email us a photo of it somewhere. Record shop, beach, somewhere very American, I don’t care. I think everyone who preordered it was in America, so it’d be cool to see photos of it over there.
On the interview side of things, Brooks was unsurprisingly incredibly normal and very funny. Told us when he came over to the UK for the first time a lot of people asked him if he knew what ‘growler’ meant over here. I was talking about football with his tour photographer/manager and he said to my best friend “she’s really into football”, which still makes me laugh, as I really was just stood there waffling on about football while he did this photoshoot.
My best friend and I had been saying our dream interview would be with Brooks, obviously thinking it would never be possible, and now I feel like I’ve made my teen self pretty darn proud.
