Ekin su

Guys random question, one of my friends said my celebrity lookalike is Ekin su from love island. I am not from the UK… is she considered pretty , do we like her or hate her in her season?

Do you think being an early bombshell is actually better than being a Day 1 Islander?

I feel like coming in early as a bombshell gives you a bit of an advantage. You already know what the villa dynamics are like, you can see who’s actually getting along, and you don’t have to go through all the awkward first-day coupling stuff. At the same time, you’re walking into a group that already has their friendships and couples, so it could easily go the other way. I think it really depends on how confident the person is and whether they’re willing to actually step on a few toes.

Why did Angelista like Symba so much?

Except for maybe a few brief 'unseen bits' conversations, Im not sure I have ever seen Simba and Angelista have a pleasant interaction, it would honestly take me off guard if I saw them joking around, it all just seems to be her rolling her eyes at him as he apologises for kissing other girls... she kept going back to him so clearly there where feelings there, but she seemed to get really fed up (understandably) with his ways, so it's hard for me to believe the attraction between them went any further than appearance, I mean all he ever did was mug her off, no?

Why was no one interested in Robyn??

This was my first season watching love island, and much like the big three I absolutely ate it up. The journey that I felt was left unsatisfied was Robyn's. Obviously someone had to be the first to go and that decision was down to Tommy and Symba, and I do feel like whoever they picked it would have come before their time, unfortunately though I think Robyn had some really bad luck in there what with being the last to go in some recouplings and George leaving. She never got the chance to find a man who actually appreciated her or have a bombshell brought in. Her and Sam ultimately ended up feeling like the scraps which is weird seeing as Robyn wasn't a background figure in that villa at all. I get that such a loud bubbly personality might come off as intimidating to a lot of men, but we all loved Robyn at home, you really warm to her overtime and learn that she has a good heart, so it didnt seem justified that there was some kind of unspoken agreement in there that no one was interested in her. Kav acted surprised when Goerge said he liked her more than Mica, and when Tommy and Symba where brought in I think we all knew deep down she would be the one to go, she just wasn't hot property in there, my question is, why?

Is it just me or did the people on love island UK look older than they where?

Don't get me wrong, not all of them, mainly the really young ones (like 21-23 year olds) to be honest, just looked about 3-4 years older than they actually where? and in your 20s that's quite a lot, now a lot of people pin this down to heavy makeup disguising their youth, but it's the boys too. It's just a real love island thing, and it's not just the OG's, I mean bombshell after bombshell comes in that I think looks mature for their age, but then again a lot of them are mentally mature as well which might alter my perceptions, for example Mica is 21, and even though I would gave guessed more like mid-20s, it doesn't really matter because she acts very adult. Anyway, I think the oldest of the OG's was Lola (28), and I actually thought she looked quite good for her age, so swings and roundabouts. Let me know what you think, I just want to be clear they're are all GORGEOUS and this is all in good fun.

lorenzo post villa…

seriously, does this man just party ever fucking day?? like i feel like every post/story i see of him is him partying somewhere. i even saw a post of him, mica and samraj together at a party event. im not saying he has to spend every minute of the day with julia as its clear their lives dont coincide with each other as much, but it seems as if there’s not even an ounce of effort coming from his side. please tell me im not the only one who sees this?

Who do you think handled the villa better than people give them credit for?

Being filmed all day, dealing with constant opinions and living with the same group for weeks can’t have been easy. Some Islanders seemed to keep their composure even when things around them got messy, and I think that gets overlooked when all the drama takes over.

In all honesty

I would be exactly like Lola. The way Julia expressed herself like “well I’m a bombshell etc etc” I’d be pissed and I would not try and get to know someone who was closed off.
I do not like Julia at all! She cries and every one feels sorry for her. Even Lorenzo said to Julia look at it from Lola’s point of view
How Julia had the audacity to say Lola was delusional!!! Lollll did she expect Lola to just let that fly? I really can’t understand the Lola hate and the Julia love

Simba on good morning Britain discussing his mother having motor neurone disease

Glad he’s getting a platform to discuss this and the impact it has on children becoming careers. Lovely to hear him talk about his mother and how things started for her. Really wish we got to see him talk about her on the show but I’m glad now maybe this will help someone see the signs earlier.

The Julia-related revisionist history needs to end

I am well aware majority of the people on this sub Reddit have pledged their allegiance to Jasmine.

However, it’s so petty and juvinile to pin anything and everything wrong with Season 13 onto Julia. Recently, Julia defended Mica on a capital interview and the comments all stated that Julia was responsible for Mica hate. That is completely untrue. Mica and Samraj were constantly voted in the bottom due to how Mica handled the Simba/Angelista situation and how they both handled The Priya situation. All these events and those votes happened before Julia entered the villa.

Secondly, all the think pieces about Julia ruined the show are ridiculous. The producers ruined the show. The challenges they had were all based on sharing an opinion about the couples (knowing me game, the podcast game & even showing the grafties) and the producers didn’t have fun challenges or romantic challenges to nurture relationships. We didn’t even have a talent show or dates. So, yes Julia is opinionated but the last few activities the islanders had were all opinion-based activities. Attack the producers for not focusing on the romantic or “love” part of Loveisland.

For those that are blindly committed to hating Julia, Disliking an islander’s personality is fine, but rewriting the entire timeline just to turn one person into the sole villain of the season is lazy. she didn't force the public to vote the way they did and she certainly didn't produce the show.

Season 12 - can someone remind me..

I don’t feel like going back to watch. How did Harry get together with Shakira after having just gone exclusive with Helena? What made him do a complete 180 so quickly?

Julia

Rewatched some late episodes cause my bf is just catching up. Julia really made my blood boil. She kept flip and flopping saying oh it’s just Aidan being not genuine but then screams and being snarky towards Priya. How are people supporting her? For the people who are, can you tell me why? Genuine curious cause she’s really pissing me off

So confused

I just finished the season and kept hoping that they wouldn’t win. I’m so confused. Why did people vote for them? They’re the WORST couple of the season.

Social media activities

S13 - I think it's becoming more and more evident the people who care about and are playing to the public's sentiments and the ones who don't based on their social media activities post villa. Thoughts?

Lorenzo

I understand he was voted the favorite boy, but could someone explain why? What is his reason for being on the show? He never seemed serious about getting to know the girls or developing a real relationship; he was more concerned with making friends. It's as if he's incapable of forming a genuine romantic connection.

And why did they stay in the villa so long? There seemed to be very few dumpings.

The twists and turns on Love Island UK season 13

I have been avoiding Love Island UK on social media because I'm trying to watch it as if it's happening in real time, so I don't know what has happened to the islanders since then. So no spoilers, please 😁

I hope that now Fitzy is out of the villa, he realizes that Lola fucked up his entire Love Island experience. The way she manipulates him is hard to watch. Voting herself to go home so she doesn't lose face to Julia is just ,wow, and dropping that on Fitzy at the exact moment is wild. At that point, she knew the public didn't like her, so she wasn't going to win the show. I don't know if they're still together, but I find it hard to believe he can put up with her outside the villa, or she might walk out herself since Fitzy doesn't make more money than she does. Either way, I'm glad she's gone.
