Jasmine and Mica haters are misogynistic men and women, especially when it comes to Jasmine bc she's outspoken and direct, calling Charleen soft etc bc we haven't seen her speak much. Jasmine was soft with Kav but what misogynists mean by soft is be quiet, don't speak up for yourself, don't defend your friends etc.

Mica hate is similar but theres an extra layer to it lol, a lot of black women hate her too bc of what she "did" to Angie when in reality she didnt do anything wrong, she got to know a man that Angie was put with basically by force (to save 1 of 3 girls from being dumped). He should get ALL the smoke from that whole situation not her.

Priya needs a bombshell in there who is her type and all for her, i wish she would have just picked Carlos bc Jordan is not interested (i don't think she likes him either, just the best of a bad bunch lol)

I really thought kavan was genuine but he has really disappointed. I get it that it was bit stressful with jaz and kav but idk it felt like rebound with casa girl.

Aiden is like so ANNOYING af atp, like bro i get he is your brother but his love life isn’t that much of ur business!!! Like they are all against jaz , can’t see nice boy with a baddie.

What is up with some people’s weird obsession of hating on Jasmine? It’s like they don’t want her to be with Kavan even though he’s been worse imo but at the same time they do want her to be with him when people ship her and Lorenzo and at the same time they don’t want her with anyone like are you alright? This level of obsession is absolutely insane.

I’m genuinely starting to think this hate is racially charged or misogynistic from how these people speak. I guess I underestimated how much casual racism and sexism exists in the UK after watching the US version be actually logical 😬

So having seen Tyrique and Tommy discuss this I do think Jasmine is going all the way it’s just who she ends up with.

Unpopular opinion: I do think there could be a chance of kavan and Jasmine. There’s not that same spark u see on the screen with kav and charleen and also when the boys realise how snakey they’ve been in sending the worst photo of him and Charleen I think it’s gonna make him see her in a different light - she defo orchestrated that kiss there to make it as intimate as possible which i don’t rate. I think when Kav gets back he’s gonna realise how much he’s fumbled I just don’t know if Jas will take him back.

Jasmine and Lorenzo: I do think she’s going to confide in him post casa and talk about all her emotions with him. This will be Jas and kavans weakest point from her perspective so I think if he chooses to persue something again she would not be against it.

Jasmine and Jordan: I think this is the most unlikely scenario. I just don’t think there was that immediate spark like there was with Lorenzo and Kavan. But I hear it I think he’s mature and knows what he wants which Jasmine deserves rn

Honestly, I quite like how the dominoes are being set up. The girls needed to see those pictures to get out of their delusions, i wish the picture of Mara and Simba was of them kissing so Angie can’t be deceived once simba comes back, but I’m very glad Jas saw what Kavan is up to.

Personally i think Kav and Charlene are actually a good match, they have a lighter vibe together and their personalities mesh better than Kav and Jas. Kav and Jas i think were just mostly attracted to each other and the idea of each other, but personality wise it just would not work out. They both look so drained together.

As much as I enjoy Lorenzo and Julia, and I do hope he brings her back with him to add to the Villa personalities, from what i gather their chats and attraction are more banter and surface level attraction. I feel like his head is still stuck on the what if with Jas, and he’s just having a good time in Casa. He asks Julia what does she really want from this and she says a relationship, he didn’t give much enthusiasm although he didn’t disagree (classic).

Naveah i felt was being a bit dramatic (and also denied bringing up Angie even though she did) but i thought it was hilarious to see her rile up Simba and felt it was karma for his own absurdity in the way he moves with women 😂

I really like Martha and was surprised she gave the ok to Aidan to kiss her, but it was also kind of a cute moment idk we’ll see about that one. Initially i thought Martha and Lorenzo would hit it off but i guess not.

I felt bad for Priya when she didn’t speak up on the Jas suggestion for her to bring in Jordan, but at the same time she admitted herself that even though she wanted a guy to come in that was all in on her (Carlos) somehow she wanted the guy that wasn’t. I think this might be an unconscious habit of hers to go for a guy that isn’t fully in on her. Jas could have not tried to orchestrate that but i think in her mind Priya doesn’t care that much and neither does she, and she’s being fully open about everything regarding Jordan so why not? She also said if Jordan isn’t feeling her at all then she won’t suggest and if Priya doesn’t want that she doesn’t have to. I think Priya looking a bit down was just at the situation, but also mica doesn’t have to agree with everything Jas says it’s a bit much and unnecessary.

I also can’t fully tell if the casa guys and girls are grafting just to be on the main villa or if they actually like the villa people 😂 there are some shots where they look uncomfortable but could also be the awkwardness of knowing you’re on camera.

Lola and Fitz will stay together but i can’t wait for Lola to yell at him for the challenge 😂

I still think there is a possibility of Jasmine and Lorenzo together eventually but i also wouldn’t mind Lorenzo and Julia and a bombshell for Jas.

I really like Mara and to be honest i want her to go to the main villa and get a bombshell as well, Simba is just too unserious of a person both for her and Angie. He reminds me of a naughty child that you tell them not to do something again and they apologize and go do that thing again then act surprised of the consequences..except he is a grown man 💀

Oh also would be interested to see Martha and Samraj as well. I don’t see him and Mica really working, Mica feels like she’s just there for the vibes.

I like Yas and Tommy and i think they’re actually very well suited, they look good together and Tommy seems to give Yas what she needs, WAY more than Lorenzo.

Today’s episode honestly the thing with the texts it’s so low class.. I wish the OG girls could just focus on building connections with the boys in front of them instead of the big fuss around those photos while the new boys are sat there on the side waiting for them to be done with it? It used to be so much better..

This is my first time watching Love Island UK and I'm so confused.

Angelista should be the most sought after with guys pulling her for chats all day. She's absolutely stunning.

Am I missing something, or is everyone in that villa blind? Yes there are also other attractive ppl in there, Jasmine is very pretty, but compared with the others I really don’t understand.

Here's a bunch of thoughts I'd love to have other viewpoints on, let me know if you agree/ disagree!

I spent half of last night's episode fuming at how the boys were moving and the other half almost happy for them?? I still think they've been disgusting but seeing how some of the boys are with people who might be better suited to them is making me realise that a lot of them were just not where they wanted to be. Look, the chats could be better but they just met these people, there's bound to be guards up and nerves all round.

I mean, has anyone else been shocked at how different Lorenzo is when he's actually confident that he's into someone 🫢

Seeing how keen on Julia he is, with the PDA and practically being attached to her hip, and then thinking about how he was with Jas and Yas is actually kind of embarrassing for me, how was I ever rooting for them to work out as couples when he was clearly not feeling it??

Ellie has consistently grown as a favourite the more times gone on and I definitely see Julia bringing the same result. When I saw Julia's intro I was scared she was going to be another Sam, but I am so glad to have been wrong about it! I hope this isn't an opinion that's going to change after 2 more episodes in typical LI fashion, but I really want to see her in the main villa (honestly, I can't see Lorenzo leaving her behind AT ALL).

And can someone explain to me why Fitzy took the one time he KNEW his actions would be shared with the main villa to act like a PIG?? He could've done all that without Lola knowing right away, is he testing her?? Is he relying on the 'challenge' excuse?? I made a post a while ago speculating about there being some truth in his going exclusive too early joke and I really didn't want to be right about it </3

Simba, I don't even care man. Every time the show moves to him I zone out 🤣 so done. So so done. Absolute DELINQUENT.

On the other hand, I love seeing Aiden not being given the time of day. Consistently have the biggest smile on my face whenever he's sad, and in Casa it's been a lot <3 love to see men facing the consequences of their actions and behaviour.

Unpopular Opinion: Guys I was rooting for Mica and Samraj in the early days, they just made sense. Now I find Mica's behaviour unsettling to the point that I'm not even mad about Samraj having his head scrambled. Yet another storyline I'm just not paying attention to.

Also why are all my thoughts about how the guys are moving. I feel like the girls aren't getting enough input from the producers in terms of challenges and that, they're just waiting. Why did the boys have that challenge on the first night and the girls were just left to their own devices? Please can the girls leave the villa next time, it's so unfair to leave them in the beds they normally share with their couples, surrounded by reminders of them. I want to see Angie moving on, Priya finding someone good for her, Jasmine finding someone more suited to her, and I want Ellie to be as open as Fin.

Just want to add that I don't know enough about any of the islanders to believe that any of them are inherently bad people and I know we never get the full story. Even where my thoughts have leaned towards negativity, I don't think there is anyone in there who is ultimately immune to self-reflection and positive growth.

Is anyone else secretly shipping Lorenzo and Ellie! I love their friendship!

Am I the only one enjoying some elements of Casa a bit more than normal as I don’t think some of the OG couples are actually compatible.

I like Kav and Jas separately but I genuinely don’t think they are right. He needs someone more laid back and a bit softer. She needs someone who can handle her strength without being intimidated by it.

Yas needs someone more tactile and openly into her who she can have a giggle with. Lorenzo needs someone more confident and on his wavelength of humour who keeps him on his toes.

I would like to see Kav and Charlene come back together, and Jas and Jordon hit it off. Yas and Tommy seem more suited and I’d like to see Lorenzo and Julia get together.

Unfortunately I think the girls might stay loyal, but I think they shouldn’t and should give the other guys a real chance.

this might sound super dumb, but I’m american and just now tuning in again since maybe the first 3 seasons. are veneers or bleached ass teeth the norm for the uk??? it instantly stood out to me, like they’re too perfect or too white to be natural and it’s all i can look at lol. sorry at all if this sounds stupid, ignorant, or offensive - i really am just curious how the perspective is from the uk

Do y’all in the UK not like Lola and Fitzy? I was shocked to see Lola in the bottom three and to hear some of the Public Tea about them. Sure Fitzy made a dumb comment during the Heartrate challenge, so that was fair. But we adore them. They are goals. I would vote for them to win if the final was today and the US viewers could vote. So what gives?

Am I the only one who thinks it’s so weird to have Kavan and Aidan in the villa at the same time? It was great for the plot when Kavan first came in but now I cringe so hard every time the girls have to kiss the two brothers back to back. It would be so weird if either of them made it in a couple on the outside and your girlfriend has kissed your brother a load of times? I dont think producers thought about it long term
