Heaven is the Safeword (Family Friendly)

Every Dickmaster needs a Clitmistress. Adam is dead and a hallucination now, so Lute can finally tell him...the thing. Oh, yeah, Abel learned what it was: Fifty Shades of the Bible.

Heaven is the one that should deal with Lute. Making her fall or exiling her would just turn her into Hell’s problem

Does she deserve punishment for everything she’s done? Yes! Not only did she enjoy the exterminations she carried out, but she also attacked her own soldiers for showing weakness or doubt, tried to blow up the entire Pride Ring for revenge, left Emily to die, wanted to reset them, despises Pentious despite his redemption, among many other sins. Lute is not innocent and deserves consequences for all she did.

But in my opinion, making her fall or exiling her to Hell is not a good idea.

First, it would be Heaven dumping the problem onto Hell.

They were the ones who encouraged and rewarded that behavior in her during the exterminations, who never condemned the hateful rhetoric she spewed, who allowed her to remain in a position of power despite being the least fit for it and being abusive. It’s their responsibility to deal with her. Yes, she chose to do these things, but she always did so with the comfort of knowing Heaven wouldn’t punish her.

Sending her to Hell would be Heaven distancing itself from the maniac they helped create, and on top of that, it would force her to live among her victims. That would send a terrible message and prove they learned nothing, that they just want the easy solution of ignoring the problem.

On top of that, Hell already has its own issues. They’re rebuilding after Vox’s attack, redemption has become more popular, and they still have to deal with power-hungry overlords. Adding a genocidal person who feels no remorse would be the final straw.

Second, redemption.

If Heaven is going to accept redemption, they have to accept it for everyone and start fostering it. Yes, Lute might refuse redemption, and that wouldn’t be Heaven’s fault, but if they cast her out without giving her a chance to change, or label her as irredeemable, that goes against the idea that everyone can try to change.

Especially since they feared the people of Hell, yet had individuals like Lute and Adam on their side, who could be worse than the sinners in Hell.

Third, it’s a purely punitive punishment that won’t teach her anything.

Sending her there without restrictions just gives her free rein to hurt and kill whoever she wants. She won’t learn anything that way, she’ll just unleash her anger and desire for revenge on everything around her.

And if they send her with restrictions like Lucifer’s, it would leave her vulnerable to those seeking revenge against the exorcists. Unable to defend herself, she would become a victim of who knows what, which would only reinforce her view that Hell is nothing but the worst of the worst. And since she isn’t as powerful as Lucifer, she wouldn’t be able to avoid revenge or hide.

That’s why I think Heaven needs to step up and deal with her properly. Not only is there no benefit in leaving her in Hell, but for Heaven, doing so would just be washing their hands of a problem because it’s too difficult and unpleasant to handle.

Besides, Hell is supposedly trying to rehabilitate the worst people from Earth. Having Heaven dump its worst people there too just makes it even worse.

I hate when people act as if Lute was born evil instead of being enabled by a corrupt system that allowed her to become the way she is.

Sometimes people in the main subs have a really bad attitude toward Lute. They act as if she's some kind of exception who was inherently evil and sadistic from the moment she was created, as if she woke up already wanting to kill people, or as if she's simply a rotten apple.

But not only do we have no evidence for that, we actually have evidence pointing in the opposite direction: she became this way because she was surrounded by a system and by people who allowed her to be this way.

Adam and Sera are the main reasons she turned out the way she did. They allowed Lute to continue her worst behaviors without correcting or disciplining her, and they kept enabling her until it was no longer convenient for them.

Adam was the biggest enabler of all. He wanted a ruthless exterminator who would kill any sinner she came across, and he never tried to curb Lute's sadism. If anything, he encouraged it and participated in it himself. He could have done something, but he chose not to.

And Sera isn't much better. She could have put a stop to Lute's behavior at any point, but instead she chose to distance herself from the exterminations because she couldn't handle the weight of her own decision. Are we really supposed to believe she couldn't stop Lute or prevent Adam from encouraging her? That's impossible. Sera had all the authority necessary to discipline, control, or restrain them if she wanted to. Instead, she buried her head in the sand.

And now that Heaven has changed, she's bothered that Lute is still the same rabid attack dog she's always been, even though it apparently never occurred to her to rein her in from the beginning.

I'm not excusing anything Lute does. She's responsible for her own role in the exterminations and for the sadistic pleasure she takes in them. But acting as if she simply decided on her own to become this way is naïve and ignores the fact that there were people who could have stopped her and corrected her behavior long ago, but now it's far too late.

Adam's Confession (Full comic, by your's truly!)

First time I try doing something in this style ^^ 3D models of characters and backgrounds made by me ^^

The Vaggie and Adam framed photos are photoshop edits from show screencaps.

I like to think lute imagines a chainsword through her chest because she secretly is into warhammer40k... I wonder what army she plays... either sisters or black templars...

My patreon if you want to support me or play arround with the models, they are a bit crude tho: https://www.patreon.com/kanilan/posts/adam-and-lute-3d-162734181?pr=true&forSale=true

Jessica Vosk the voice of Lute has been announced for Animate Orlando!

I am glad she got announced for a con I'll be likely attending this con. I am coming from Texas, as she has not attended any in Texas yet. Last year she was booked several cons and wasn't able to attend due to her busy schedule. I am hoping I can meet her finally! 🙏 😇 🪽 I'll be cosplaying Lute too...:)
