Just got this email on my student account. Seems extremely suspicious and I would think it's a scam at first glance, but I wanted to ask if anyone else familiar with student incident reports recognizes this format? I don't remember even being involved with anything lol
Is it possible to no be offered ANY work study positions after applying? I'm planning to apply to around 5? Is it possible that I am not offered any jobs?
Also, when do I find out which ones I can work at?
Applications open next week for on-campus jobs. Any advice for an incoming freshman? Would love the unfiltered take on different positions so we can get a sense of the pros & cons.
Hi I'm a transfer student probably enrolling this fall (still hesitating between Mac and UMN). One thing I'm really concerned about is whether I could get a job at school (I'm intl so I can only work at school). When I applied to Mac I was expecting that there's gonna be more campus job opportunities, but now that I've got my student account I realized many of these opportunities seem to open only to work study students, which I am not. Also I don't really have any work experience which just makes things worse. I really wonder what are my chances of getting any job in my first semester. Thank you.
