Mac DeMarco Live at Russian Recording (2013)

I saw a fan on here asking why there hasn't been a Mac live album besides the one acoustic one, but there was a full band one that came out in 2013 that's absolutely excellent! It sometimes gets missed because it only came out on Bandcamp and cassette in 2013. It's also only found on indie label Jurassic Pop's Bandcamp and not Mac's making it even harder to find. I just wanted to share here for those who haven't heard it.

I built a music app that I think you'd all like. It's one big collaborative playlist, all about sharing music that you love, like Mac.

I’ll keep this short. I think social media can be better, especially for music lovers. Instagram/TikTok hurts to use. Corus (Corus.fm) is only about sharing what you love, and following people to get an instagram-like feed of their favorite music, integrated with Spotify/Apple. A lot of us on the app love Mac. You're sincerely all welcome to come join the listening party!

P.S. 10 years ago I made the app Cymbal with some friends, you might remember it. Had to shut it down due to money problems sadly. Now I'm hoping to do things a little differently, this time solo. No ads, no ai slop or manipulative algorithms. Happy to answer any questions if there are any :)

Dallas, TX 05/18

I got to the venue at 5 pm. Doors opened at 6:30 pm. I somehow scoot my way in to the barricade! I’m so lucky! Managed to get some good shots of him! :) I had a great time, but it was really hot inside the venue.
