Hello!! A BOY fumbled me so hard and I need to really get him & everything off my mind. Can you suggest fun activities/side quests I can do to keep me distracted? I need to be distracted for 15 days to be exact hahahaha (there’s a context behind that 15 days I couldn’t disclose aaaaa k*ll me now eme)
I jog/ do night walks in ATG; I also go to the gym (treadmill and exercises); I do journaling din hehe. Just pls don’t recommend anything matcha-related haha lol. I also don’t like bars/partying hehe but I love a nice cocktail and a chill speakeasy.
Comment some recos pls and I’m open to crazy/wtf?/“ang random!” side quests din hahaha thank youu
Hello po, may napulot po akong 500. Kung nawalan kayo or may kakilala kayo na nawalan. Pa pm po ako ng possible location kung saan nawala or kung saan kayo dumaan ngayong pauwi (possible after work). Saka kung anong state nung pera hahaha.
Ps. Nagtry na po ako dati mag surrender sa brgy. hall kaso wala na po akong tiwala, binulsa na yata nung kagawad after mablotter. Kasi sabi ko iupdate ako kung napabalik, aba'y wala na HAHAHA.
Ideal place to go jogging or light walking at night after a stressful day at work. Very beautiful park.

Makati landed at 9th place in the 2026 World Travel Index ranking of the Philippines’ safest cities (https://theworldtravelindex.com/en/asia/philippines/cities/safety). Good that we still made the Top 10. But honestly, for a city with Makati’s resources, reputation, and capabilities, bakit tayo makukuntento sa 9th place?
This is Makati. Dati tayong benchmark. We were once ranked the 2nd safest city in the Philippines and 4th safest in Southeast Asia (https://www.philstar.com/nation/2019/09/03/1948520/makati-seas-4th-safest-city). Ngayon, top 9 na lang sa buong bansa. Should we celebrate na bumababa ang ranking natin?
Mas mataas dapat ang standards ng Makati dahil business capital ito ng bansa. Libo-libong manggagawa, negosyante, turista, at foreign nationals ang nasa lungsod araw-araw. Obviously, tatargetin ng mga kawatan ang Makati. Kaya dapat mas proactive, mas visible, at mas aggressive ang peace and order measures dito.
Mayor Nancy should be held accountable. Public safety is part of her job. If Makati is declining under her watch, we have every right to ask why.
Random late-night thoughts.
I (f26) moved here years ago not knowing that this city would eventually become such a huge part of my life. Looking back now, I realized Makati didn’t just become a place where I worked, it literally helped build me as a person.
For the past 4 years, this city became part of my everyday life. From learning how to survive adulthood to figuring things out one day at a time.
I’ll always remember those random Saturday mornings sa Salcedo Market with officemates. Going there just to eat good food sisig, puto bumbong, tapos fresh buko juice. Simple moments lang but somehow those became core memories.
My first bar experience happened here too with my sister. I was 23 at that time. I still remember those tambay moments sa Ayala Triangle with office friends after work, just sitting around and talking about life like we all had things figured out kahit hindi naman talaga haha.
And whenever my high school friends from the province would come to Manila and we'd plan meetups, I’d always choose Ayala Triangle. Always. I just love the vibe there. Something about the place feels peaceful in the middle of all the chaos. Somehow it became *our* place too.
Makati witnessed a lot of versions of me.
The girl adjusting to city life. The stressed employee. The happy version. The lost version. The version of me trying to survive adulthood while pretending I knew what I was doing.
It also saw me grow career-wise. Two companies in four years. From being an assistant to eventually becoming a supervisor. Looking back now, ang dami rin pala talagang nangyari.
Makati saw my small wins, quiet breakdowns, random food cravings, friendships, and moments that probably looked ordinary at that time but became memories I’ll always carry.
And this isn’t really a goodbye.
I’m going back home for now because I’ll be giving birth to my baby girl and start a different chapter of life there. Life is changing, and I think I’m changing too.
But I know I’ll come back whenever I can.
Some places become part of your story.
Makati 🤍 became part of mine.
Any restaurant suggestions? Budget is around 1k or less since I just spent a lot on medical expenses. I always feel pressured to celebrate because of my family, so I have to at least do something today. Birthdays are just a sensitive time for me. Just a solo dining experience at a place that has a birthday promo or something. Or maybe I'll just have something delivered? No idea what though. I'll be busy working all day since I got a deadline, and I don't really have the energy to go all out.
Maybe I'll do something more exciting during the weekend if I feel better. If so, got any suggestions? I'm not into the clubbing scene because I hate noise and crowded places. I can't do café-hopping since I'm trying to lower my caffeine intake. Would love to hear some solo suggestions!
Anyone visited the parks this morning? Is it worth checking out?
I wonder if anyone here remembers the old NBS branch at the 2nd floor which is now the site of the new expansion? I just remembered that I used to collect the free postcards there near the cashier when I was a kid. There were free posters and leaflets as well of lifestyle promotions or events? That was aside from the fact that you can read books inside the store just like in Fully Booked. I miss those days.
silver year ba tawag pag mag 2’25 years old kana? may pagganon pala di ko alam HAHAHAHHAHAHA pls😂✋🏻😭
Is it me or is our meralco wayy way up high this month??? Is something wrong with our meters cause our meralco has doubled compared to last month ang oa ng 5 digits for a one bedroom and we don't even have much appliances, no water heaters, no tvs, and don't use our aircon much
Hi! I’m going thrifting today but I was wondering whether mcs opens at 10 or 11? I know some malls have started opening at 11 now instead of 10 so I just wanted to figure out what time it opens so I don’t go too early. Thank you!!
