Help me build a playlist? (Magdalena Bay, Lorde, Kanye, etc.) Something for spiritual healing

Hey everyone. I'm a Bi 26 yo man. I’m looking for songs or playlists that capture a really specific kind of experience.

Over the past couple years I’ve gone through a pretty intense health/nervous system experience after a bad reaction to an antibiotic. It changed the way I experience my body, anxiety, fear, all of it. I’ve improved a LOT physically, and I’m rebuilding my life, but the experience definitely changed me.

I’m looking for music that feels like:

  • surviving something invisible
  • grieving your old self while slowly becoming someone new
  • healing that is nonlinear
  • fear turning into wisdom
  • feeling fragile but still continuing forward
  • “I thought my life was over but it wasn’t”

Artists/songs that already resonate with me:
Lorde, Kate Bush, Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish, some Kanye, Florence + The Machine, etc.

Would love songs that feel cinematic, emotional, spiritual, strange, tender, triumphant, or deeply human. I'd appreciate some help and suggestions.

Looking for a electronic sampler playlist

Hey all, I'm hoping one of you is bored / passionate enough to make a playlist with as many distinct genres of electronic music as you're willing to add. From noise, trance, hard-core, chiptunes, garage, jungle, (sub-genres as well) ect..

If possible I would like a few songs that clearly represent each genre/sub-genres. I have lots of friends that I've gotten interested in electronic music but, dont know where to start. I figure a playlist with a few songs from a ton of genres would be an easy way for them to figure out what they enjoy. If possible please list the order of genres in the playlist description so people will know the names of the genres they vibe with.

Thank you to any that contribute to the cause!

I also forgot to mention I lost almost all of my playlists because my hard drive chord broke and I can’t connect to it so I have too do everything online today which sucks

But yeah the first gig is a Open house for Native American community center

The party this evening is 2 hours it’s at an art studio/community center that are hosting a block party

🌴 Road trip vibes in a van

Hey all,

Got a road trip with a group of friends coming up and I want to put together a playlist for the drive. We'll be in a Van (If that matters)

Seed track: J Boog – Every Little Thing

Reggae, tropical, summery indie, mellow hip-hop, soft surf rock, feel-good throwbacks — all welcome.

Soulful House 90s & 00s - Angel Deelite Vol. 2

Hello everyone at r/SeamlessSets, I hope you're all well and having a great weekend so far. 🙂

It's another tribute to Angel Deelite, an awesome Soulful House club night that ran 20 ish years ago in Manchester, UK. Like the first installment, it's a who's who of Soulful House from the late 90s and 00s. Here it is and it's the first time I've shared this publicly:

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5gyVRoCmE4rAyvCPGMfxC8?si=ommUlV23QXip6Rocuh2v7w

As I loved Angel Deelite so much, I've put a lot of effort into editing this to give it a live/DJ performance feel. I hope that comes across. I've pushed the mix engine very hard and some of the tricks are as follows.

- All 16 bar custom transitions (mainly harmonic).

- Used tracks with additional acapellas in them to simulate 3 and 4 deck mixing.

- Track overlaps during the mix window to create remix type events.

- Doubled up vocals and extended vocal hooks.

- Created custom re-edits of tracks and recontextualised them by using multiple edited down versions.

- Mixed between original tracks and remixes. Cued in the exact same points or very similar points and used the centre bass swap as a cross fader so it's very difficult to tell where the blend is.

- Exploited ghost transitions.

- Fixed transitions with data anchor points etc.

Tracks by MAW, Joey Negro/Dave Lee, Urban Blues Project, Jasper Street Company, David Morales, Kings of Tomorrow, Barbara Tucker, Rufus & Chaka Khan, Soul Central, Moloko, Sunkids, DJ Sneak, Simpson Tune, Grant Nelson and many more.

Need more songs for playlist - Matching the vibe of This Fffffire(Franz Ferdinand), Lithonia(Childish Gambino), and also sort of kind of, Invisible(Duran Duran)

To me when I hear these songs(and honestly its probably because of the context I heard them), it feels like as if Im sick/in pain, but im still pushing through/trying hard, ya know?
like This Fffffire in Cyberpunk, Lithonia in the DareDevil trailers, you get the idea

So I'm trying to find songs that emmulate that feeling!

Would love to hear whatever song suggestions anyones got! Thank you!

[EDM/Dance] An EDM playlist I’ve been working for a long time. It includes in my opinion some of the best EDM based tracks. There are a lot of recognisable songs in it with very familiar artists and new once as well. Hope you enjoy !

Add to my list of songs/OSTs with subtle, strange synth moments (Mindhunter, Annihilation, Nine Inch Nails, M83, Raised by Wolves)

Hello!

I've been making a selective playlist of songs with moments of a strange synth that feels a bit ethereal, with moments of heavy synth! These range from normal songs, to movie/game OSTs, etc.

Take a listen and share any songs you think fit!
