What are the BEST classic rock songs of all time?

I really want to create a playlist with all the best rock songs! I enjoy listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin but I also always love a good alt rock band like Nirvana. So anything that fits that vibe would be perfect!

Please drop your recommendations!! Maybe I'll even find a new favorite song!

My annual twirly dance pop Summer playlist

Heya - been making dance/pop playlists for about 20 years to share with friends every summer. Started as commemorative burned CDs that I gifted on our big group vacation, and then got broader when streaming came along. I obsess over the sequencing and vibe shifts. Hope you enjoy.

Love with a relapse problem

Hey everyone,I wanted to share a collection of songs I've put together. It's built around that specific, heavy feeling of a trauma bond-the constant highs, the lows, and the struggle of trying to untangle yourself from someone when leaving hurts just as much as staying. The vibe covers a mix of genres rooted in emotional pop and moody tracks. It's meant to be a safe sonic outlet for late nights when your brain won't shut off. If you are going through it right now, I hope these tracks give you a bit of comfort.

You aren't alone in the quiet. Feel free to let me know if there are any tracks you think would fit this vibe. I'm always looking to update it.

Acoustic versions that are actually worth hearing

This is Stripped Back

I’ve always had a soft spot for acoustic and live recordings. There’s something about hearing a song with all the production stripped away that just feels more honest.

This playlist is a collection of performances I’ve found over the years. If you’ve got a favourite, I’d genuinely love to hear it.

Enjoy.

Need music recommendations for a marathon in 5 hours

Hello everyone!

In about 5 hours, I'll be running a marathon, and I'm looking to put together a playlist that will keep me going throughout the race.

I'm open to recommendations from any genre, as long as the songs are energetic, motivating, or just great for running.

**P.S.** I enjoy ambient, jazz, progressive rock, post-rock, bossa nova, and especially atmospheric music.

Thanks in advance—I’m off to run!.

Desperate for new music

One of my passions in life is creating playlists that induce “frisson” (that feeling of chills/goosebumps you get when you listen to a song) but I have completely exhausted every algorithm and every playlist in Spotify and Apple Music. Any suggestions? I love indie. Examples of songs I’m into:

Hide and Seek - Imogen Heap
Islands - the xx
You - Keaton Henson
Rockman - Mk.gee
I Am the Antichrist to You - Kishi Bashi

Thank you!

Made a soft piano / instrumental playlist for late-night studying and homework

I was trying to find a study playlist that stayed calm and instrumental without being distracting, so I ended up making one for myself and thought I’d share it in case it helps anyone else too. It’s mostly soft piano, no-lyrics tracks, and some instrumental versions of songs people might already know, so it works well for homework, reading, or late-night studying. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5SZxfITk92GPsVT5jqrBDi

Walk On the Mild Side explores the gentle side of contemporary music, where indie folk, ambient pop, soft electronica, folktronica and modern jazz meet. This carefully curated playlist blends intimate songwriting, warm acoustic textures, subtle grooves and atmospheric soundscapes.

Featuring artists such as Tunng, Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, Four Tet, Arooj Aftab, Leifur James and Nala Sinephro, the playlist moves between contemplative folk, dreamy electronic textures, spiritual jazz influences and alternative pop sensibilities.

Designed for relaxed listening, quiet evenings, meditation, creative work or peaceful walks, Walk On the Mild Side offers a calm and introspective musical landscape where melodies unfold slowly and atmospheres breathe.

Confident & a little sexy

This is Midnight Pop.

I had a lot of fun making this. As a dancer, I’m always drawn to music with groove, rhythm and movement.

It’s confident, a little sexy and built for late nights.

I update this every month.
