Cheers!

When your obsessive need for perfect symmetry meets your love for chaotic nature 🖤🤍

I usually stick to very strict, repetitive mandala patterns because the symmetry is truly meditative for me. For this piece, I just wanted to challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone by forcing the rigid lines to break out into curvy, flowy and asymmetrical vines.

Done entirely with black fine-liners on an A4 drawing book (130gsm). It took roughly 3 hours for me. I'd love to hear your feedback on how the balance feels to your eyes!

Cheers 🖤🤍

Introductory Compilation

I'm new and thought I'd share a compilation of my favorite designs. I drew these in a discontinued art app called Silk Paints (i never uninstalled it). It allows me to repeat a design I draw up to 12 times. However, I still have to draw the design myself, it only mirrors what I draw. There is no AI used. If you look close, many of my designs have little creatures in them. I hope you like them, I feel like I've gotten pretty good at them.

(I hope I used the correct flair, let me know if I need to change it. I couldn't tell if I should use Computer Generated or Handmade. It's kind of a cross between both. I do hand draw each shape myself at least once while the app mirrors the shape.)

First ever mandala

I've started drawing and painting maybe half a year ago and today I kinda unprompted drew a mandala like image. It was oddly therapeutic and I will make more in the future.
