Hey guys, I wanted to ask what’s usually the best and most convenient way to travel from Mangalore Airport to Manipal/MAHE Udupi. I have heard there are direct cabs available from the airport, but I’m not really sure how the whole process works.

Are cabs easily available after landing, or is it better to pre book one beforehand? Also, if there are any trusted private drivers or cab services that students and parents usually use, please let me know.

Would also love to know the approximate travel time. Just trying to understand what most people normally prefer and what the overall experience is like.

Little Rock Indian School, Udupi really thought it was okay to tell girls with “heavy busts” to wear loose clothes and even limit how they move during play hour because it might “distract” boys and male staff. Imagine that , instead of letting students just be kids, run around, play, and exist freely, they’re being told to shrink themselves so others don’t get “distracted.”

The whole “wear loose clothes” thing is just a polite way of saying “hide your body because we can’t be bothered to teach boys and staff basic respect.” It’s not about discipline it’s about control. Why are girls being made responsible for someone else’s lack of self-control?

And the play hour part is even worse. That’s literally the one time students are supposed to relax, run, and enjoy. But no , now girls have to be conscious of how fast they run, how they move, how their body looks while doing something as normal as playing? That’s not just unfair, it’s damaging.

And a teacher getting “distracted” by ear piercings? What kind of professionalism is that? If your staff can’t handle something that basic, maybe stop hiring people who shouldn’t be around students in the first place.

This is outdated, regressive nonsense. Instead of creating a safe, respectful environment, the school is normalizing the idea that girls’ bodies are a “problem” to manage.

Do better. This isn’t discipline it’s straight-up backward thinking.

They have been deleting peoples Vn comment in their latest reel, people calling them out asking for basic human decency nd accountability. Try are just deleting comments nd acting like morning happened. A person exposed them and their management in the comments few mins later comment deleted. They should shut down for good. This is not a hate post, but a line has to he drawn when a life is lost and the people who organised the whole trek dont take a single ounce of accountability, dont show remorse. Not even a shred of humanity

I don't mind going far all the way into Udupi but I'm going with a friend and want suggestions on bars with private cabins where we can sit drink for a few hours, have lunch as well (preferably with AC that doesn't die when the power cuts off due to rains). Kediyoor has craft beers but no cabins and so I was really disappointed please suggest the best ones you know... Don't say Bacchus, Eye of the Tiger, Guzzler's, Hakuna Matata, Madhuvan, Edge...

For context, i was waiting for my train at Udupi station which was fricking delayed by 6:30 hrs, cuz of that I was sitting in the general rest room just waiting. After a couple of hours I saw two young peeps (M and F) going into the breastfeeding area.... Those mofos looked 15 at max. They came out after fucking 15 minutes. There was no kid...... WHAT THE ACTUAL HELLLL.

How is Marena Sports overall? I’m considering making it my main training place, so I wanted some honest reviews from people who actually go there regularly.
