Earth If.. WW3 Was started by Ukrainian-Russian War + More (Read Description)

WW3 Was started by the Ukrainian-Russian war in 2028,
and was also started because Denmark told Russia to let Ukraine join NATO but also to make an alliance itself,
as well as then ambush Ukraine and take out the rest.

After this happened, Indian spies in China figured out that Xi had planned to meet with Putin and sign an official alliance.
Indian politicians couldn't help themselves, therefore they told the USA.
JD Vance, the president of 2028,
made NATO into the Anti Communist Earth Organization.
Now, its a global military alliance with the same principles and "articles" as NATO.
Ukraine initiated Article 5, and WW3 started.
Everything was going accordingly to Russia's plan.

The reason why Denmark told Russia all of this was to get back at the USA for stealing Greenland.

UK, Bulgaria, Ottomans & A.H. Join it in 1870 to aid Prussia. Relations stay the same,
Prussia becomes German Empire and they still remain the same.
Zimmerman telegram is a success because Britain doesnt intercept.
Japan joins Central Powers in 1916 to get land from China.
Speaking of China, they join Entente to get protection from western
powers and their imperialistic ideas.
Sweden is pressured by Russia to join them in 1915. Greece, seeing
their most likely doom, they join Central Powers. Spain joins the
Central Powers to get back at France from Napoleonic Wars.
Battle of Jutland doesn't happen, so Germany and Britain's navies
reign supreme.
North Sea Blockade doesn't happen.

A new map of European sub-regions

Since I watched a video where it said Eastern Europe is a lie and they made many good points, I decided to do this. True Eastern Europe is Russia for obvious reasons and I'm a bit biased, then there are many more regions and some countries belong to two groups at the same time (Poland = Central Europe + Slavic) and I know that Balkans on the map are Slavic too, but you could add "Balkans/Southern Slavic" to it. I jsut didn't have space

Europe new temperature record

In June 2026, there was a huge heat wave in Europe. The map presents a geographical overview of all-time maximum air temperatures recorded across European nations.

The data highlights that during the intense heatwave in June 2026, four countries established new national temperature records: the Czech Republic reached 41.9°C, Germany hit 41.7°C, Poland recorded 40.5°C, and Denmark reached 37.0°C.

The highest peaks are found in the south, with Turkey reaching 50.5°C, Italy 48.8°C, and Greece 48.0°C. In contrast, the northernmost and western regions maintain lower all-time maximums, such as Iceland at 30.5°C and Ireland at 33.3°C. The data confirms that the 40°C threshold has been surpassed in a large majority of European countries, including significant peaks such as 46.0°C in France, 45.4°C in Russia, and 40.3°C in the United Kingdom.

Note: The temperature records for Turkey and Russia shown on the map apply only to the European part of the countries.

Thoughts or questions about the map for my first book?

It's a dome arcology, current as of 2263. The surface of the Earth is a blasted post-nuclear hell-scape, but through sheer grit, determination and some sketchy alien tech, we've managed to build mighty dome-cities over some of the ruins. This particular dome was the first to be constructed, which is why its got a space elevator (we did a lot of this from orbit or beyond, after the war).

The locations are callouts of distinct locales that the characters visit throughout the story. New Toronto is part of a cluster of domes in the region, but is the largest by far.

The top surface of the city is where the majority of the population lives, but the underground is an immense network of transit-ways, recycling facilities, power generation, water renewal and criminal hideouts--plus the remains of the old city beneath. It's got all the hallmarks of cyberpunk megacities and sci-fi megastructures that everyone knows and loves. It even has a lake (though its more of a giant reservoir).

What would you guys add or change, if anything? Much appreciated!

A world with a greater Chinese state

It's honestly kind of cursed, but what can you expect? This is how China would look like if they decided to claim their old territories.
