Absolutely ridiculous

Update: I called as suggested, the credit was increased.

I have ordered several boxes from this company. Not great, but ok enough, until the box I got yesterday. Not only did they leave out the recipe cards, but a large number of ingredients were just missing. The protein from two of the meals were just not there, and at least two to three other important ingredients were also gone. So four portions of salmon, four portions of ground beef, four portions of white beans and four portions of Marscapone cheese, and no recipe cards. I contacted the company and they, in their great benevolence, gave me a $15 credit for another purchase. That works out to $3.75 per four-serving meal. I can't replace any of the ingredients for that amount. It's insulting. Be very careful ordering from Marley Spoon.

Marley spoon first week

Got the crab cakes and another dish. There was no crab in my box! which was the most expensive and important part of the dish. I complained and they offered me $10 credit for next week’s box. I didn’t feel like that was enough? Bc all the other ingredients (mayo, bread crumbs, seasonings) I already have. So it made the whole order feel useless!
Not sure if I should give them another chance. Would suck to not even be able to use my credit but I’m so far not happy.

Recipe Cards

Once again, no recipe cards this week. Sometimes we get completely random ones. It causes a lot of stress because they can’t be downloaded from the app for some reason and my husband doesn’t have the app on his phone. I end up spending so much time trying to get the recipes to him.

I feel as if they are purposely not including them to start to phase them out at this point. It really makes the process so much less appealing to not have cards to cook from.
