How do you live when you have no work to do ?

I'm a high school teacher, and since it's July, I'm officially on vacation. The problem is that I've forgotten how to live when I'm not constantly busy.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who experiences this. Have you ever felt lost when life slows down after being busy for so long? I'd love to hear your experiences.

We need to talk about Hergawa

Quick note: Downvote me all you want I don’t care. If you aren't ready to face the truth, then it’s no wonder why our reputation is the way it is. I’m done sugarcoating it ,we need to do something

I’m a Moroccan girl living in Italy. I study hard, I have a great life, and I’m a law-abiding citizen. I take pride in my Moroccan identity, but I am absolutely fed up with these hergawa they are getting on my nerves and making life impossible for the rest of us.

I am dead-ass serious. Every time I open the Italian news, it’s the same trash. Whether it’s El Koudri, the 3bil who intentionally ran over people in Modena, or Zouhair Atif, the student who killed an Egyptian boy over a girl it’s always these shemkara putting us in a bad reputation .

Last month, my professor’s 10-year-old son was attacked by a Moroccan 30 year old just for his bike. And don't even get me started on the pathetic influencers on social media.
I’ve had enough of these motherfuckers putting a spotlight on the worst of us when our country has so much more to offer. I feel so bad for the disciplined, ambitious Moroccans who want to study and mind their own business, only to get their visas rejected because of these idiots.

Choosing the right field

It's really a tough choice

I'm a student in an engineering school , I have to choose what field I will have to complete my study on it and I am really in tough choice between electric or computer science, I did a LOT of search and the two have advantage and disadvantage I will give a breif conclusion of all my search :

For computer science:

It a big market and it has a lot of flexibility but the problem is the entrance to that field shrink with the unknown economy that will come after the Ai hype , because the field will completly change after the Ai stabilize and the economy rebuild itself around it , and also it's getting saturated , there is a lot of competition, I don't mean I will not work on my self but I am afraid even my work will not pay off , it's just it will be a big heart breaking thing if I work really hard with a no guarantee if it will pay off

+ I really watch all the update on Ai in all the world from china and usa and its really going somewhere it's getting more efficient amd for a 5 years we can't know how economy change with that fast development of Ai

For electrical engineering:

It's a stable field with a LOT of branches, it's really big but the problem is the Morocco job market , it's small and even the intersting part like embedded systems are not existing for jonior, If it's not the market it will be a good choice , I was thinking to do electrical engineering and at the same time develop my self on computer science so I become hybrid, but am afraid that will make switching to computer science hard because I just learn it by my self .

I really don't have problem with any of these fields , so choose what I feel comfortable with isn't a solution for me

Buying a used car

Hello guys, I'm looking to buy a used car and my budget is around 120k-130k mad. I work from home, so I don't drive a lot, mostly short trips around Rabat/Temara. The problem is that I haven't been able to find a good diesel car within my budget So now I'm stuck between getting a diesel car with 100k+ km, or getting a petrol car with significantly lower mileage I'd really appreciate your opinions and experiences, if you know of any good options or models that fit my budget and usage, I'd love to hear your suggestions as well

I'm an antinatalist in a serious relationship, but my girlfriend keeps sending me baby reels.

Hey everyone, I could really use some outside perspective on this because I'm honestly feeling pretty lost and conflicted right now.

I am in a very serious relationship with my girlfriend. We’ve known each other for a long time, well before we even started dating, so we are very close. I have always been very clear about my antinatalist views, having biological children is absolutely off the table for me.

Recently, she’s been consistently sending me Instagram reels of cute babies and toddlers. It happens often enough that it started making me second-guess where her head is at. I finally decided to communicate directly and asked her point-blank: "Do you actually want to have kids?"

Her exact response was: "No, I just don't want to lose you."

I don't know what to do with this answer. To me, it doesn't sound like a genuine "no." It sounds like she does want children but is suppressing that desire because she wants to stay in the relationship, or maybe she is secretly hoping I will change my mind down the line.

I love her, but I absolutely do not want to trap her in a life she doesn't truly want, nor do I want to deal with built-up resentment years from now when she realizes my stance isn't going to change.

Has anyone here dealt with a partner saying something like this? How should I interpret this, and how can I navigate this conversation without breaking her heart? Any advice would be appreciated.
