A local musician to me here in Melbourne Australia posted this recently as one track in his repertoire.

And there we have it! I love the contrast between Mother Puncher and Elephant Man being the most played song and the least played song. Funny and awesome that the only time Elephant Man has been played was at an aquarium lmao, such a Mastodon thing to do.

This was inspired by the band Mastodon, David delivered so far beyond my hopes, I’m happier than I even thought I would be 🥰

2 hours and a minute in he starts talking about Brent being on tour with him and getting kicked off the tour for being a maniac.

Made me feel sad and also love Brent more.
But definitely understand what place is he was in and how the decision to kick him out came.

The pressure must be enormous for him, but so far I’ve only seen/heard him go strength to strength. I think he’s fully aware of the responsibility and is going to pull out all the stops. Dude’s six solo albums in and still plays with the energy and passion of someone just starting out. I can’t wait for what he’ll bring to the new record

Any hopes of a Mastodon tour with Jack Johnson were dashed away on this day (Sep 12, 2008) at Bonnaroo. Thank you Aziz Ansari for calling such frankly atrocious behaviour out

I've been listening to some songs for a while now and got really interested in the band, so I'm going to listen to the band's full discography for the first time and was curious about your favorite albums, tracks or anything you would like to point out to a new fan.

Also I have already listened to Once More Round the Sun and this album hits SO FUCKING HARD that I am really excited get to know the others!

I knew Jack was a big fan of other metal like Tool and SOAD but I didn't know he knew ball like that
