As we prepare to join our 1st year of medical college, we all know that ragging and campus harassment remain serious issues across many institutions in India. Due to fear of retaliation, academic pressure, or administrative indifference, most students end up suffering in silence.

To address this, we are launching a private, strictly verified anti-ragging support community on Reddit specifically for 1st-year MBBS students across the country. We need your help to build this initiative from the ground up.

How the group will work:

Strict Member Verification:

Every member will be verified before joining to ensure no seniors, college authorities, or fake profiles enter the group.

Anonymous Posting Forum:

Once verified, members will post about ragging incidents and campus realities through an integrated anonymous system. This protects your identity while preventing fake or unverified rumors from circulating.

Helping Future Batches:

Creating an authentic record of college environments so incoming aspirants and future juniors know exactly what to expect.

Breaking the Cycle:

Committing to ending toxic ragging practices in our respective colleges when we transition into seniors next year.

Guys lets say if i get a college in round 1 and classes start in round 2 and i have very slight chances of getting my dream college in round 3 … so while the third round is going on can i start my classes at the college i got in round 1 so that i don’t miss my classes ? For example.. lets say i take aiims bathinda in round 1 and want to upgrade it to aiims rishikesh in round 3 .. i have very less chance getting it .. so can i start my classes at aiims Bathinda while 3rd round is going on ? ( if you don’t know it …. Can you guide me about whom to contact to clear this doubt ?

I have a laptop I've been using since covid. The fan can get a bit loud but other than that no problems.

I'm quite stingy and don't wanna ask dad for a tablet since the laptop works fine. Will it be sufficient or should I get a tab?
