Great statement from Vic
“This hypocrisy is not unique to Megan,” Mensa argued. “Black women have to produce impossible evidence to be granted the most basic human sympathy.”

Imagine casually going out to eat and running into Megan! 😭
Bigger in texas, Anxiety, Megan's piano...
Solange's cranes in the sky...
Yeah, if anything could help 😭
Wild because we never "officially" dated but damn I just... sigh.
Can’t wait to purchase mine!!!!
Just got mine! Don’t miss out babes.
Let me explain.
I know a lot of us here are Black (probably most of us, to be honest), and a lot younger, so this comparison might not immediately click.
After watching Vic Mensa talk about how Megan is basically a barometer for people's misogyny, I couldn't help but think of Madonna.
Madonna spent much of the '80s being attacked for simply existing on her own terms as a woman. She was criticized, shamed, and scrutinized for almost everything she did. Some aspects were different, of course, but the anger and misogyny Megan faces today remind me a lot of what Madonna endured back then. And honestly, I don't think it's gone away—just look at how people constantly weaponize Megan's age against her.
The biggest similarity is that neither of them let that stop them.
Megan fully owns her sexuality, and that still makes a lot of people uncomfortable. They think that by attacking her they'll shame her into changing or giving up. Instead, she keeps doubling down on being herself, and every attempt to tear her down only seems to fuel her even more—which, ironically, just makes her critics even more bitter.
Do you guys agree with me or am I doing too much? Let's chaaaaaaaaaat!
I love Meg and I’ve been listening to her since 2015-2016. I know a lot of her independent songs but I want songs that she hops on with other artists and makes it 10x better. One that I love is Pop It with Bankroll Freddie. I want to find some more songs with Meg Featuring in that I might not know.
The perfume just dropped! Run it up hotties!!!
(I’m still so curious if we get the bag if we do it online or if it was Canada only 😫)
I just got this purple bandana top in my game and I thought it was perfect for our girl 🥰
Shout out to whoever wrote that community note because it’s so true
We all know Megan loves her some animals and has plenty of them 😂. (Let me know if I missed any!)
Omg this perfume smells amazing and the gift with purchase is actually soo cute 🥰 also excuse my photo was taken quickly during break at work. If you live in Canada run to Shoppers drug mart and buy this!! 🔥🔥🔥
While I do not think celebs need to be role models or have to make kid friendly music I find it very funny that the people who come at meg for her lyrics and say she is misleading young black woman are the same ones who have made Spend Dat By Young Miami the song of the summer.
I mean I have seen people play that song at college, highschool.and even eighth grade graduations and at weddings also even though the song about tricking and scamming two topics people claim they are tired of hearing from female rappers.
I also find it funny how young miami is defended as people have been going off on india Arie for at least being consistent with the fact she thought the song was negative but no one defends meg or the other rap girlies even though they have not had as many controversies as young Miami.
I dont hate the song and I dont think celebs have 2 be role models but the hypocrisy is what i hate especially when people come at Meg for everything from lawsuits to twerkign to her lyrics but again young miami been doing the same thing since 2017 damn near a decade and the culture not only forgave her but actually made this song a summer hit.
The tech said I could pick any music I wanted for the headset so I said Megan thee stallion please and he delivered. I remember hearing Wanna Be, Body and Sweetest Pie. Thanks, Meg, for making a procedure I was a little scared of into an okay experience!! Thought my fellow hotties might appreciate hearing about it!
