I plan on extending the song and adding (a lot) more video and a bunch of pics. This was from a trip my wife and I took in April (2026). We went to Omega Mart in Las Vegas, House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe, and Convergence Station in Denver all in one road trip. More to come.

Not that I think either would happen, but it's something I've been thinking about especially that we're now in a post-Backrooms movie world.

Future Hooman, a "Multi-universal clinic for biological upgrades and iFlu inoculation" immersive art exhibit located in downtown Durham has been under construction for a year by a team of 20+ artists 100% self funded is now open for general admission to the public. Private weekend night parties and "happenings" have been going on all this year through word of mouth invites. The space is around 2,000 SF and takes 60 to 90 minutes to explore, more if you dig into the lore and do the puzzles. The space will stay open as long as they can keep it afloat financially.

I seem to have completed all the tasks/missions accessible via the boop card. I found Marin’s glitchy email (and thus learned her fate/whereabouts?) and helped Ximena hack the DramCorp phone system and displayed a video message on the array of screens in the factory.

I earned a code name and passed a secret phrase on to a DramCorp white coat.

I’m headed back later today (June 26) for my final visit and I’m wondering, besides my planned deep-dive into available documents, computers, videos, etc, what might be left for me to do?

Last time I was here my Old Fashioned Spray was served in a slanted glass. This time I noticed most drinks were served in disposable plastic cups. :(

Maybe too many glasses were wandering out into the exhibits?

My fiancée and I are headed to Convergence Station next week and I've already had it confirmed by the exhibit that the QPASS system is down. We're still going but she read that the QPASS goes down a lot. I was curious if anyone can tell me the frequency of how often the QPASS system goes out and how long does it usually take them to fix it? (Pic unrelated, just me packing the essentials)

I really enjoyed the movie it reminded me of visiting a MW where all the architecture is slightly off, but you can't put a finger on it, and watching the characters move around the backrooms really reminds me of stumbling around a MW, and being surprised with what you discover.

Some very specific scenes reminded me of specific exhibits, particularly the sunken couch area at HOER. Also everything being inside another bigger structure (like the house and other structures) really brought me back. The auto repair shop in the back of Omega Mart that is askew is reminiscent of Backrooms architecture. Vehicles (like the Semi) that are oriented un-naturally.

In the web videos, when a character explores deep, and gets lost then returns to the original location where they started (usually chased by a monster) are the most fun for me to watch. It really brings me back to stumbling around a MW exhibit for the first time, getting lost, and slowly figuring my way back.

Pretty cool to see them at LACMA's Block Party (celebrating grand opening of Geffen Galleries building) handing out mascot shaped cotton candy and other trinkets to promote their upcoming LA space. I asked and still no word on official date but staff is hopeful in time for the holidays.

Howdy yall! I gotta say if you love meow wolf you absolutely have to check out Phenomenomaly. It added so much to my vist!!! It’s so hard to describe, but it felt like I was a real life taver!!! I highly recommend the event!
