Leaning into cleaner production, “Resist Slaughter” calls to mind the massive sound of forebears of the style WOLFBRIGADE and DISFEAR, with muscular riffs accompanying flashes of melodic guitar leads while a furious rhythm section holds everything together. Lead vocalist Shendi’s shredded vocals bemoan modern colonialism in a mix of desperation and outrage, perfectly matching the anger and intensity of the rest of the band.
