Metrov v2.2.1 I thought the lockscreen will replace the phone lockscreen man no has made a proper app to replicate wplockscreen I thought finally wp lockscreen but in lockscreen section of metrov it says its only for after you unlock your default phone lockscreen , you had me happy for sec :(

anyway if someone is making a wp 8.1 lockscreen app make sure it has root access so that the default lockscreen does not pop up the only thing that is truly missing into converting my android phone into a windows phone is lockscreen the only thing that is left to make it fully like wp no has made a proper app which works on my phone always my default lockscreen over runs it :(

Anybody's been getting this screen more often lately? Just randomly, you lock your phone, you unlock it a couple of minutes later and it's this.

Grid Columns

I wish there was more option on the home screen for foldable device, such as the Fold 8. The tiles become a bit too large imo with the 10 columns wide maximum option.

Not sure how visible it is from the pictures, but the smallest size tiles on the inside screen feels close to the 'normal' sized ones on the cover screen.

Created a Lumia Camera type app for Android

I created a Windows phone Nokia/Lumia camera style camera app for android which bypasses manufacturer postprocessing and features lumia cameraesque sliders for manual camera settings. Not to mention it uses the full sensor size, meaning you get 4:3 open gate videos. In theory, you can shoot IMAX on you budget phone xD.

Note: There are definitely a few bugs, try it out and lemme know if you find major bugs like crashes. (I know the photo mode has a bug where it squishes the image, I'm on it). The UI is still being polished

windows centrol! miss this!!

I miss when Windows Central focused more on Windows, Windows Phone, Surface, apps, hardware, and the wider Microsoft ecosystem. I’d love to see more of that variety again instead of so much Xbox and gaming coverage.

MetroV - feature request

Hey Dev,

First of all, thanks a lot for the amazing launcher !

One feature that would be nice to have, if possible, would be to be able to set the tile transparency on a per tile basis intead of launcher wide.

If we can set the tile transparency per tile, then we can set a full screen wallpaper and add some transparent separators (fully transparent tiles) between some app sections, opening the opportunity for more customization.

You can see one of my previous post where I uploaded a capture of my homescreen to see what i'm referring to when I mention "separators" and "app sections".

Right now it works with a plain background (white, black or any plain color for that matter) but if we have a more complex background, setting only some specific tiles to be fully transparent without any borders is necessary. That would be awesome.

now I can use metrov with new update

finally the New update let you choose the icons on gallery. still want the resize option of global icons in settings to reduce the need to change one by one, but for now it's fine and i'm loving It! and no i dont use live tiles find them kinda ugly tbh

[Request] Windows 10 mobile look

Hello dev,

I love the launcher. Its very accurate to windows phone 8.

It's just that the windows 10 mobile look, feels more modern to me and i like it more.

The only launcher i can find with windows 10 aesthetics is launcher 10, but it lags so much and is not optimized at all :/

Your app is miles better than the big names like Launcher 10 and Square home! And is highly polished.

Is it possible for you to please maybe give a windows phone 10 look in it as well? OPTIONAL of course, in addition to the current look 🙏🏻

I really want to make this my default wp launcher and finally get rid of launcher 10 and Square home.

I hope you consider this request.

METRO V gesture support?

I tried out Metro V because I heard about it from someone else. I decided to buy it because I think it shows promise.

One thing I'm wondering is if double tapping the screen to turn the screen off is something that is coming in the near future.

I got so used to that with my other launcher that I feel I need that. :)

Swipe to home not working on the Surface Duo 2

I upgraded to Premium yesterday and ever since, swiping to go to the launchers home screen crashes MetroV. I have to go into Android settings and force stop the app then open it to get back up and running. My workaround is to use the back button/gesture to go back home.

If anybody experienced this issue and knows a fix, it would be appreciated.
