Weekday operations are over :(

One of my favorite things about this season has been the extended hours in July and parts of August; with the park closing at 9PM every day including weekdays. We live close enough that that has meant being able to swing by after work which has been awesome.

But as of now, both the extended hours and weekday operations have ended. Park closes at 8PM the next few Saturdays; and 7PM the next few Sundays (but 9PM tonight, August 16th, because of a passholder event).

Bummer for the peak summer season to be winding to a close! Though usually these weekends are awesome before Fright Fest starts, very low crowds, Hurricane Harbor still open.

Poor Richards - Solid place just outside the park

Possible for locals this is a known place. But we just went off of a Google search for nearby places. But we really liked our meal here. Moderately priced, and for me the wings were totally as advertised. I got them "trashed," which sounds like they basically fried them twice. Everyone else in our party liked what they got as well (sandwiches / burgers). The homemade ranch was also as advertised really, really good. Even my salad was good, especially considering it is more a sports bar type place.

Highly reccommend if you're looking for a place just outside the park that isn't fast food.

I did my birthday visit!!!

Yesterday (8/9 Sunday) was may 60th birthday. A couple of months ago I bought a Legend pass through Enchanted for Mid-America. A first for me in years. The process was easy. I brought 2 friends to redeem my bring a friend free offers. NO ISSUES. Preferred Parking, NO ISSUES. They processed my pass and gave me a hard card for a back up in case the app.goes down. AWESOME! I had no issues getting my free lunch (17.99 value) and 15% discount on merch and drinks.

Now...

What was closed.: JOKER, SCREAMING EAGLE, SKY SCREAMER, MR.FREEZE, SPINSANITY, FIREBALL. And alot of skill games and shows are now dark. Alot of merch is getting scarce. Almost no Screaming Eagle merch is left. I got a sweatshirt (45.99). I wish they had more.

We rode Batman, and it ran *fast*. Awesome! Ninja, get rid of it guys, its time. American Thunder was another *fast one* that just Awesome today. Then came The Boss.....where to start. Cut down the que line first of all. It too damn long and steep. Its hard on the legs and lungs. Then the tracks and cars. Just RMC the thing. I was jackhammered all the way through the run. It has gotten worse. Ive always loved the layout and design but damn, it needs major major quality investments improvements.

Other than that it was fun. Food quality was good. They are getting ready for Halloween. They have only a few weeks. I will try to get back out there to do it when its cooler and scarier lol

2027 Season Passes

Has any information been announced yet? Six flags has posted their passes and I assumed enchanted parks would follow suit but I have not seen anything.

There is a rumor going around now online saying that Mid-America is keeping DC/Warner licenses for 2 years. Has anyone heard heard anything from Enchanted yet or is this just speculation?

First family visit

I’ve been to the park a couple of times. Once 20 years ago before having kids and once a couple years ago in a group of adults. Both times my tickets were paid for by someone else.

I am wanting to take my family of 5 to the park in the beginning of October for Scarefest. What would be the most cost effective way to buy tickets for our visit?

I was looking at this Enchanted Legend pass and had some questions. Does this mean I could buy one pass and get 2 of my kids in free and my husband buy a pass and get our 3rd kid in free? It seems too good to be true but wanted to check… Also when it says includes admission to Halloween event, what does that mean? Surely not the paid attractions but why even specify it if the general admission covers all the regular halloween stuff?
