Physio rec?

Hi everyone,

Looking for a physio in East Cork. Have been going to a largish physio firm in midleton but two separate physios have advised me against getting a scan for two separate issues. Turns out that I have an issue that physio would never have fixed and requires surgery. I've lost faith in my them now and want a recommendation for elsewhere.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Eircode/Address not on Google

Anyone has any idea how to get property location updated on google? Neither the eircode nor the house/street is visible on google maps street view.
It’s a newly built house. It shows empty roads on google maps, where there are houses right now. Is there any way I could request Google maps to update the information of the location? Thanks in advance!

Eir mobile

Hi folks, Does anyone have any good, bad or indifferent experiences with Eir mobile coverage in Midleton?

If I recall, Meteor used to use their network and it was patchy at best in parts of East Cork. Just wondering if it's improved at all.

Experience of Virgin Media Tv streaming box?

It's that time of the year for us, TV and broadband contracts are coming up and having checked around, Virgin Media service is looking the most affordable option for us without the annual price increase like Vodafone do. Currently with sky, out of contract bill will be €153, Virgin TV and broadband for a 2yr contract is €55. However we are looking for anyone's experience with the streaming box for a TV service. If it helps we are in East Cork and virgin are only recently available to our area as alternative

Good spots to watch the sunrise around Midleton?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a nice spot in or around Midleton to watch the sunrise, ideally somewhere with a good view.

When I lived in Cork, I used to go up to Patrick's Hill and it was always beautiful, no matter the season. I'd love to find something similar around Midleton.

Any recommendations? I don't mind driving a little bit if the view is worth it.

Broom Heights, Midleton – thoughts?

Hey folks,

I’m currently considering buying a house in Broom Heights and would love to hear from anyone who already lives there.

What do you like/dislike about the estate and living in Midleton in general? Any issues with noise, parking, flooding/drainage, traffic, maintenance, or anything else that only becomes apparent after living there?

Also, if you considered other estates in Midleton (e.g. Maple Woods, Arderrow, etc.), what made you choose Broom Heights over them?

Would really appreciate any honest opinions, positive or negative, before making a decision.

Thanks!

Why can't we have more live venues in Midleton?

Hey all i have been quite frustrated the past few months about the lack of live venues in midleton, it seems there basically non existent for teen bands, yes we have pubs like jesters, cantys and oneills, but there's no place to just play music or jam with other musicians. My place doesn't have a great set up at all, there's is atleast 2 places that could be redone and made into musical places such as the old swimming pool across from mace or the meeting place across from jesters. Most pubs in midleton don't like having teen bands out which is annoying as it's the local place for my band, if anyone has any ideas about sorting this issue or what I can do please get on.
