Have any of you kept the glassine paper cover on your Midori?

I love everything about my Midori notebooks, and I also love the elegance of the glassine paper covers. Have any of you kept one for the life of your journal? Did it patina? How well did it preserve the cover?

I know the shuffling about and crinkling are a turn-off for some, but for those who have kept it i would love to see your journal!

Trip to NC, Traveler’s Notebook in hand!

My trusty Olive Traveler’s Notebook is on another quest. This one has traveled with me coast to coast and Canada often. This was my first one. I have collected many now, but I always go back to this one for my trips. I need to give the others a chance to get out and go places!

I wish we have A6 Codex

I really wish MD creates the A6 version of the Codex. I really would love to write an A6 page per day journaling on dot grid layout without the 1 page 1 day planner style layout.

Now I'm using standard A6 notebook but it's two notebooks per year (and even then lacking page). A5 is just too massive sadly.

Has anyone binded the refills of a TN into an actual book, so it looks just as nice after the refill is taken out of the TN?

I really like the aesthetic of a Travelers notebook, but once the refill is full and you take it out, I think it would just look likes a thin folder (I haven't purchased a TN yet). I have a whole shelf of different types of diaries and I feel like the the TN binders would make it look like a boring office shelf.

I don't have experience in bookbinding&oq, but want to try it out on my current Midori Codex once it's full. And I'm contemplating on buying a TN as my next journal or a Midori Hibino.

Pen Holder

I’ve always struggled with a pen holder for my Travelers Notebook. I’m now using the “Quiver” 2 pen leather strap with a plaster backer strip to strengthen the leather cover.

So far so good….

Evening on the Porch with PLOTTER by My Side

My wife and I are enjoying an evening on the porch with a glass of wine. I pulled out my PLOTTER from my pocket and thought maybe people would want to see how I use it as a wallet. Here it is, the Mini 5 as a wallet and used for quick notes, lists and ideas:

sticker deco

i think i got too excited about my new notebook and went too overkill on the sticker deco and it looks too full 💔 for future reference i think ill go lighter on my next midori notebook! also i purchased this thinking it'll have the cute 'md paper' label on the right middle side of the cover but apparently they rebranded to 'md product'.. which my original plan was to put js a few stickers surrounding the label but oh well

Idea for how to use my first Midori?

I got the midori notebook with blank cotton pages and I’m so excited to use it! The thing is! I don’t know what I want to use it for just yet…

I have a journal ecosystem and here are the notebooks already on it: daily, weekly, monthly, diary, sketchbook, junk journal, school notes

So! Any other ideas?

How many partner shops have you visited?

Just curious! Do you have them in your stamp passport book? And do you always buy something (TC?) on your visit?
