Hobonichi Weeks + B6 Slim
I’m curious about getting a cover or TN system that could potentially hold a Weeks and B6 Slim Stalogy.. does anyone currently have this set up? Any advice/insights for or against this idea?

Here are my special edition Traveler's Company notebooks, let me see yours!
I have several Traveler’s Company Notebooks and I switch them every week. Lately, though, I have really enjoyed the black TN I have and keep rotating it in or keeping it going for another week. I’m not sure if it’s the texture, the flopiness, or the way the scars and scratches look on it. It’s becoming my favorite and I’m not entirely sure why, lol. It’s not my favorite color Traveler’s Notebook, or even my favorite when it comes to the look of scars and scratches… Anyway, enjoying a moment of journaling with it this morning!
I adore the designs that Hobonichi has offered throughout the years but the actual planners don't fit my needs so this setup is the best of both worlds for me! I easily cut down an A6 pencil board with scissors to fit my passport size Traveler's Notebook and I made the remaining into a second bookmark. (I use my TN for scheduling and various habit tracking/logging.) I also fell in love with an A5 board I wanted to use in my A6 MD grid so I cut it down and got another bookmark out of that one too! I use the A6 as a therapy journal and am obsessed with Hobonichi cases (currently using the Mina Perhonen "symphony" cover). Would love to hear how others combine the two brands!
The photos show MUJI B5s that were in a Lochby (with TN-style elastics). I don’t like what happened to the spine and was wondering if the same thing happens to Midori MDs (book type, not the stapled “light” version) when held by elastics.
Anyone have experience with that combo? I have a ton of A5s and am trying to decide if I want TN-style or slip-on cover type.
Picked up a used Traveler's Company Notebook Blackwing Edition at a reasonable price
On the front porch during a journal session while enjoying a beer, a summer rain storm came by to cool things down.. the smell of summer rain is inspiring for writing ✍️
Quick flip through my diary journal during a summer rain...
I'm starting a pencil diary/journal which is just basically a diary that I only use pencil when writingin it. I have several Blackwing pencils and the Traveler's Company Brass Pencil, so I wanted to use them more often. I have used a pencil occasionally in my other diary, but they seem out of place among all of the different fountain pen inks. I figured I would try to be more intentional and I have plenty of inserts to use up. This insert is MD Paper Cream in a Kyoto Edition insert. I have two, so might as well use one!
Does anyone else dedicate an insert just for pencil use?
My current vibe, enjoying a writing session, and mixing around inserts in my Traveler's Company Notebook collection...it's the simple things that bring the most joy 😊
Time to unwind in my Traveler's Company Notebook for the day. I enjoy these moments...
We stopped somewhere Mississippi for a break and while the wife was taking care of some necessities, I had a quick journal session
20th Anniversary Traveler's Company Notebook as a wallet. Getting a little bit of a patina
Does the goat leather cover lay flat with the MD notebook inside?
I’m in love with MD notebooks and the main reason is it lays and stays flat. I have the paper cover but it does not lay flat so I never use it. I’ve been using the plastic cover instead but it’s getting gross. The goat leather looks promising and I’m willing to splurge… but only if it lays flat when writing!
Thanks in advance!
