Hey Watchers! Just wanted to get some feedback on these two. The all black has DLC diamond like carbon which provides great protection from scratches. But for anyone who has one is there any concerns about the port above the helium valve with debris like sand or lint? Thank you.

Love it in the original strap, but ordering the bracelet as well. Also have some Ali straps on the way. Any recommendations for this colorway?

Ended up going with this over Damasko DK20, DUG Purist Type 2, and the Hamilton Coop. Really and a tough time choosing, but I think this Mido is a good combo of everything I liked about the above three watches. Feels weird owning 3 Midos though, so will see how I feel a few weeks from now.

I wasn’t a fan of gold, but this one got me..

I’ve just returned from a mountain hike in Arkhyz, in the Caucasus. My Ocean Star Tribute watch accompanied me throughout the entire journey at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level, above the clouds.These are my first Swiss watches, and it was great to take them with me on such a journey.

This watch is just incredible. Got the black Mulitfort 8 One Crown yesterday off ebay for $770 from an AD brand new. I took several pictures to try and demonstrate just how much dimension this watch has. The stock pictures online don’t do this thing justice. It’s proportions and angle are very sharp and sporty, the dial looks so different in different lights and angles and the crystal just completely disappears (the double AR coating does so much. It’s also very thin (9.8mm i believe).

Mido is so slept on. Glad I went with this over a prx.

I’ve never had a watch nicer than a $400 seiko so this is a big jump. Looking at picking up the brown TV big date next!

After a week with the new 200, I find myself going back to the wave. Each has its pros and cons, most glaring are the bracelet on the 39 and 41. They have always felt cheap and the polished center links on the 41 are a crime, so I brushed my matte. The 42.5 wins the bracelet battle with nice screw links and matte finish. The clasp on the 42.5 and 39 are both clunky, the 41 not so much. The bezel on the 39 wins with its coin edge and quality feel.

I got this watch because of the GMT and world timer function. I need to track multiple timezones for work and family.

I swapped the rubber strap with leather to give it a different look and feel. The polished case with the leather strap makes it look a bit dressy.

The dial’s so unique and busy. I admit that it’s hard to read the time and the lume is bad, but it looks so cool for me. A great addition to my collection.

I love the rose gold and brown color combo

I finally grabbed this one in Yellow hold after being so impressed by the rose gold on rubber!

I like Mido watches but the bracelets are a bit lightweight for my taste.

I’ve been wearing it daily for a year now, and I have to say that it’s a perfect watch for me. It’s thin and tough, accurate, the lume is great. It got a few scratch and I like it. The micro adjust on the fly clasp is sooooo great for everyday wear, I use the bezel everyday. The V shape of the bracelet feels nice, the 3.5hz is smooth, the « snap date » function makes it even more premium. I love the rubber strap too, it makes it look even smaller on my small wrist, and so light that you forget you’re wearing it.

I can’t recommend it more.

Well, that was so fast! My Muiltifort One Crown Blue Dial with PVD GOLD Case and Bracelet came today! It’s like an early birthday with the unboxing.
I must say I am very happy with this piece. Out of the box it fits perfect! The UPS guy left it on the side of the house (not front door as said) and I got a bit panicky, but found it.
Photos do not do it justice. The pvd gold isn’t big mall trying to be flashy gold color: the bracelet is muted but the case pops with the polished gold and the contrasting blue dial. This works great bc I’m not a gold bracelet guy at all. Everything I have is stainless steel or leather (or Chopard tire tread rubber).
Quick release bracelet is not only a breeze, but it’s SOLID! It doesn’t feel cheap at all. My Venezianico Nereide GMT (SOPROD Movement) feels cheap compared to this. The sapphire back case shows the ETA C07.611 / Powermatic 80
Movement with Up to 80 hours power reserve.
Frequency is not major high at 3 Hz / 21,600 vibrations per hour, but will do the job long term (think safe turtle beats reckless rabbit on meth speed).
I’m not one to pay retail, but I did on this bc I wanted the AD protection. It punches WAY WAY WAY ABOVE its acquisition price. This will get a workout this weekend. It’s a thumbs up deal 👍! I highly suggest you visit your Mido AD and look at all of them so you can pick the color combination that best suits you.
