🟢 Day 10: I’m Killing the Discord Idea. Here’s What I’m Building Instead.
After testing the idea, reading comments, and looking at the traffic, I do not think the paid Discord is the right move.
The honest reason:
I dont think I can consistently bring enough price errors to justify $19/month.
Price errors are great when they happen, but they are too random. I do not want to sell something unless I know I can deliver real value every week.
I also thought discounted gift cards would be a bigger hit, but most people did not seem that excited about them.
What did work?
The fit and load out post. & ofcource the bread & butter of this sub: Good Sneaker deals.
A lot of you liked the idea of pairing sneaker deals with clothes, bags, fragrances, tech, EDC and other men’s essentials, especially when everything is actually on sale.
I can then focus on those load outs & pair them with cash back offers, discounted gift cards & any other deal hack I can find.
Another major pain point I found over the years...
It absolutely sucks to find a sneaker you like at a crazy price just to find out your size is sold out.
