“You just ain’t on that Midwest emo shi”
A few years ago I had this tshirt signed by Eric. It’s currently living in my drawer and I want someone to give it another life! I never wore the shirt, I only displayed it on my wall (it doesn’t haven’t any holes).
I think it’s pretty funny. I would sell it for $60 but I’m willing to bargain! Please let me know if you’re interested!
It’s likely a size medium to large
Here is an part of a new Song from my band ok coach :) Be Kind and Tell me what you think <3
Here is the linktree of my band If anyone is interested
Album is genuinely awsome and I wanna hear more like it
midwest emo is so cool
i don’t even know if the promise ring is midwest emo actually so don‘t flame me if i’m wrong.

thank you bye bye
my friends and I put together a fest called homiefest and this is our fifth year 🙂
we are super stoked!! if you’re nearby then come hang on 9/5!!!
When AF announced their tour for LP4 my wonderful wife had the idea to book the house on Airbnb, and luckily it was available! So we saw then at the Indy show on Thurs (they get better each time I see them), then spent the rest of the weekend exploring Champaign-Urbana and hanging at the house. So many good record stores and restaurants! Particular shout outs to See You and Sakanaya.
It's not the cheapest spot to stay but absolutely worth it imo. The house is old and creaky (it's got charm) but also clean and comfy. Would stay and take a million pictures again!
I just got a new Squier Sonic Telecaster and I tried open D tuning but find the strings are very buzzy.
I sent Fender and asked if there was an issue and they said the guitar ships with .009–.042 gauge strings, which do become very slack when the guitar is tuned down to open D and that is the main cause and it’s not a manufacturing issue so they can’t help and the guitar otherwise seems fine.
Is there any suggestions? I will say the third string from the top buzzes even in standard tuning though.
I’m a complete guitar noob so please use simple terminology haha
"what will i occupy my life with? my work, or the glory of my God?
how can I want all that He's promised more than I want the face of God itself?"
I love Midwest emo but I’ve noticed only really stick to the same couple artists. i need some recommendations cuz I wanna branch out and learn more about this genre cuz I fucking love it.
my 2 favorites are Carly Cosgrove and Leisure Hour. I also like Summerbruise, (idk if they count as Midwest emo but) Flourescents, Free Throw, The Story So Far, and ofc Hot Mulligan.
recommend me some stuffz. I love almost all genres but especially pop punk, metal, and electronic rock, so if there’s Midwest emo bands that bend genres I’m so down. I’ll listen to anything at least once, I’ll give anything a try, so fire away
Looking for recommendations of emo or midwest emo songs about still being hung up on your ex when they’ve moved on. I feel like i know some songs just like this but i can’t remember any specific ones. And please none of the typical really popular bands like American Football, Texas is the Reason, Promise ring, etc because i’m already very familiar with their discography lol
I’ve heard people say that after you discover Midwest emo you either branch out into more indie rock/folk punk music or post hardcore/sceamo. I branched out into post hardcore/screamo.
I also came from pop punk, which I imagine maybe other Midwest emo fans did too.
