How to make certain blocks glow/emit light?

SEUS did this for Redstone, Emerald and Lapis Lazuli blocks. I'm trying to get the same effect in IterationRP. I found that there is a settings to change LabPBR preset to SEUS, and while those previously mentioned blocks now emit light again, it seems to mess with a lot of other materials as well, like leafs and flowers becoming full-lit.

I tried to mess with the blocks.properties file and also looked in the SEUS shader to see how they did it, but I can't find anything.

If I google it I mostly get results about how it's configurable in a resource pack, but I know that it's possible from within the Shader.

Any ideas? What's the easiest way to get this done, if any?

The last Aquarzia update

what's up guys! after the success of the huge update, I am officially shifting gears for the final update of Aquarzia.

as you can see in the sceenshot, I am experimenting heavily with depth-of-field, ancient brick structures, and warm, glowing light sources to create a massive contrast to the previous neon rooms,

The architecture is heavily optimized for BPR stone textures to show of the true power of java raytracing.

Let me know what you think of this new directions! Final link dropping soon.

last message in this community, I will never bring any updates in weeks.

I'm only posting on my own community

Looking for a pack that gives light blocks illumination

tried out a few packs but i need one that gives light blocks (1-15) illumination, every pack so far just ignores them

edit: for future people looking for answers, apparently there is no way to get light blocks to emit light

Why my game is rendering in iGPU instead of dGPU?

Hi guys. I recently installed tlauncher and played minecraft, and I noticed game is being rendered in Intel graphics, not my RTX graphics card.
How can I force game to be rendered in RTX card?

How can I create brighter, more dramatic lights for my build?

building a bioshock ish themed build, it will eventually be underwater and will need gloomy lighting that reaches up the pillars from beneath. Current method isnt working (sea lanterns under the floor in pic 2/3), anyone have a fix? The range they have is very small, and i havent found an rtx pack that gives illumination to light blocks, otherwise i would use them (currently using vanilla rtx).

any packs or methods that would help me?

Aquarzia HUGE update

Hey everyone! The new HUGE Aquarzia update is here!

I've benn grinding hard to deliver a huge update with 10 completely new rooms, focusing on clean layouts, sci-fi aesthetics, and rich neon lightning.

shader: Is in the map itself

Resource Pack: Weed Eater + Vanilla PBR (LabPBR)

Blocks: Clean white concrete for the best light diffusion and matte reflexions!

From endless cyberpunk tunnels to hight-security laser corridors and massive core reactors- I wanted to push java path-tracing to its absolut limits without annoying blooms and bugs or overexposur.

Why can’t I run ray tracing?

I am running a pc with a newly installed AMD RX 9060xt which should support ray tracing, but I am not given the option. I have the software installed and (I hope) I uninstalled all of my old Nvidia drivers correctly.
