Which clg should be better for me ! First round mai iist indore ki cse allot hui and honestly maine janbhuj ke upr bhar rakhi thi taaki gwalior se bahar nikal pau ! But ab vohi same chutiyapa ki ghrwale bol rhe h gwalior mai rho yeh woh !

Seniors give honest suggestions

Got CSE at MITS GWALIOR, upgrade me to apply kr diya hai but iske upr maine choice filling me davv and sgsits ki cs/it rkhi hai jo ki milna impossible hai and not getting something better anywhere else.
Mujhe MITS ki fees se koi dikkat nhi hai just want your views on following points:

1. My priority is Placement. I want to know true placement data of cse branch & is it going up or down as compared to past years.
2. What companies are coming actively for placements and any product based companies coming or not? (Seen some student got good offers at Amazon, Google, Microsoft etc. but I don't know off campus or on campus). And if it is true fir bhi itni burai kyu ho rhi.
3. Saw syllabus on official website and found that syllabus is updated not like other colleges where they teach civil mechanical etc. in first year.
4. Found that as compared to JEC, MITS is doing better in recent years as college became DU, growing since past few years and management is trying to improve conditions whereas in JEC some people said "management bilkul bhi dhyan nhi deta, unhe koi mtlb nhi hai" & no growth.
5. Some relatives said that, in terms of city Gwalior is close to Delhi NCR, better connectivity and Gwalior is developing more as compared to Jabalpur, So, MITS has potentialto do better in upcoming years. What are your insights on this point?
6. Is coding culture and tech crowd good as compared to JEC? Also as so many branches are there so people said competition is better and the student who focus on studies are doing better. Is it true?

Actually, some of my friends study at JEC, they said ki JEC pehle acha tha ab khrb hote ja rha kyuki koi growth nhi hai and bachche yaha ake bigad jate hai kyuki management strict nhi hai. They said ki MITS bohot improve kiya hai and tech branch me MITS ko takkar de rha hai aurupcoming years me MITS aur better ho jayega. MITS wale MITS ko khrb bta rhe and JEC wale JEC ko khrb bata rhe hai very confused...please help me.

I got csd in 1st round really want to talk to senior in 2nd or 3rd year pls DM me , I also have doubt why has csd cutoff fallen in these 2 years like aiml and aids 1.5 lakh Tak ja rha h and csd 2 lakh Tak why it is considered better and suggested by all senior that it's better than aiml aids ?

Hi everyone

I've got csd in mits i was thinking of taking it so I tried to find some information and specs regarding mits and csd later i got this sub reddit and now I feel myself in a very tough spot it feels very concerning and confusing.

Please seniors help me out and consider my situation, my economic conditions are not very good if I take admission I'll have to take an education loan which I was thinking to compensate with scholarships as I'm SC but still it seems Mits fees may affect my expenses heavily plus they say it's going to hike even more.

It's not just me many fellow students like me might be in a touch spot similar to do please help us guys yaar tumko uperwale ka vaasta please genuinely consider our situations.

While reading the post comments it is really concerning and needs proper advice from seniors. There were many issues in the posts and comments that felt really concerning. Like:-

1. mits is no longer a government college it has converted or is going to be converted to an private university and fee hike is going to continue year by year.

2. bottleneck of placements and internships, low placement and no internships plus some said that mits is blacklisted by mass recruiters. It is important for many.

3. management and staff aren't supportive and are rude arrogant and ignorant. There seems to be some charges of corruption nepotism and money laundering or Mismanagement on the faculty of mits.

4. College crowd plus local crowd are not well behaving rude abusing and troubling, fights and politics in campus and no civic sense no friendly or supportive atmosphere.

5. campus facilities may be good but hostel is worst i saw a video of food storage fully infected by fungus and warden threatening students not to leak about it. Plus they said the same guy is professor of csbs.

6. extreme harsh weather conditions and can't survive without expenses on equipment and accessories like cooler, refrigerator and more.

7. no coding culture no supportive staff or hard to find people with hope and progressive mindset, full of idiots and foul speaking people. No people preparing for hackathons and progressive competitions or events. Plus no cultural events or fests.

Seniors please consider my condition I'm at a point where I can't take the risk to make a mistake my conditions aren't that good. Upon seeing this sub reddit it feels like there's no hope or positive point of this college but still I'm not sure whether I can get anything else or not. I have talked to lnct counsellor he said i might have a chance for the main campus but I need to apply for round 2.

Please tell me what should I do I'm genuinely not in condition to regret later or commit any mistake. Right now I've applied for upgradation and wants advice from all of you guys

My interests plus skills are only in fields like cs or ece. It's not about hype or placement records but these are only branches I can work with they are the only subject I can do well in because of understanding and some basic skills of cs.

Apko rab da vaasta yaar, don't have any idea what to do, what's wrong and what's right.

Will I get good exposure here that's what I am worried about i know I will need a off campus placement so for that do they do things like tech meetups or conference do this college have good connection with companies and all and what about internships

I got IT in MITS Gwalior through mpdte counselling, I’m from Indore btw, I just wanted to know the college life and environments , is it good or should I go for upgrade ( which is not simple at my CRL tho😭).
The events and attendance??? Culture ??? Nearby ??? Should I go for hostal or PG ??? How’s the city 👀( it’s my first time to Gwalior I just passed through the city didn’t travel yet )…
