BBS Rims

The best part about the 2004.5 VW GLI, it came with stock 18’ BBS rims (RC336). Need to be refurbished but not in bad condition overall

HKS Blowoff Valve

Did a risky experiment…

bought a cheap Temu brand HKS blow off valve, was only $30; failed within a month to where internal springs failed to open

Bought a real HKS blowoff ($250) and performance is even better

Lesson learned: do not buy cheap mechanical parts

Father & son project: our 2002 Jetta Mk4, still bringing it back to life.

This is our 2002 Volkswagen Jetta Mk4. It's more than just a car—it's a project my father and I have been working on together. We've been fixing mechanical issues, chasing leaks, and slowly bringing it back to its best condition.

It still has a long way to go, but we're proud of the progress so far. Thanks for checking it out, and any restoration or maintenance tips are always welcome!

22 year old car

Missing my mk4 and guess I’m looking for some people to say they like it. Miss that slight crayon smell. Was my daily, and raced Autocross with it as well. 2.0, 5 speed, falco 17” wheels from voxx, reputation 2 tires, race land coilovers gasket matched intake and exhaust port and polish, window sealer filled motor mounts ecs control arms and poly bushings. Always stuck to the road at speeds down hill which was really the only way I won or kept up with anyone because of how slow they are. lol. But ohh the reliability of 2.0 was amazing. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
