Concourse/Background tips?

Hey guys, admittedly new to stadium creator myself, but I wanted to make my own stadium for DD to avoid playing at Coors every game like everyone else. While I’m satisfied with the actual ballpark that I’ve made, one area I could use some help with is utilizing concourses to set up a background/add some depth to my stadium. Any advice on how you guys use concourses to create more of a backdrop would be awesome

Albertsons Park, Boise, ID

ID: WhoCanItBeMeow

I wanted to do something more than the giant warehouse for the retractable roof but memory got me. I feel like this one can be “modular”, might change the outside to palms and swap out some buildings and make it Orlando based too

Busch Stadium 1982 and 2000 (Murph075)

I built 2 versions of Busch Stadium 2. I had to delete most of the exterior and city from the 1982 version to complete the 2000 version.

Mossie Point Ball Park ('25)

Pretty proud of this one. Nestled in some overgrown Maine resort town-turned coastal hub, this small-size (about 28,000-seater) jewel-box throwback maintains a throwback yet modernized vibe while presenting picturesque inlet views of the vast Atlantic beyond. Technically, this was my most ambitious project yet. The limited terrain options made mountain modeling a pain, but I think the end result looks alright from the stadium's forced perspective. This was also my first experiment in jerry-rigging outfield wall advertising, and yes, a perfectly fine evening was wasted wrestling with the creator's byzantine dimension controls in order to line up the panel props in a semi-coherent manner. Again, though, I think the end result turned out pretty damn good given SC's stupid, stupid limitations in this department. There are also a bunch of fun idiosyncrasies that you can play with to fit your franchise's headcanon (for instance, what does that mysterious singular red wall panel out to right represent?) and really make this place your own. It's not DD-compatible, of course, and it's stuck on last year's game, but if you're looking for a New England vibe that kinda fills that space between Portland and Cape Cod, then this might be the park for you.

Merritt Park

Before Howard Terminal there was another effort to keep the A's in Oakland. This Park is built on the Peralta site next to Laney College and Lake Merritt. I believe its 330-400-330 and has nice views of the lake and the Laney College Baseball park.
