Does anyone know these guys?

I'm a 19 year old university student studying Law and this random guy approached me at my local Anytime fitness. He started talking to me and asking personal questions which I thought was kind of weird and he told me that he's a retired Lawyer at age 21 which I found was kind of far-fetched. I'm already broke with student loans and work night fill at Woolies.

Long story short he was sharing with me a successful entrepreneur couple has helped him retire at age 21 building passive income which I don't understand what that means. I wanted to find out more information so they chat with me on zoom and gave me some boring audio to listen to and a book business of the 21st century and take down some note and post on whatsapp group. These guys sound very shady as they don't answer questions and often change the subject.

Can you guys please identify if these guys or legit or taking me for a ride.

MELBOURNE Watch out for Amway Team1global.

They're here to recruit you to their team selling you false hope that you can succeed. They are highly skilled at manipulation and will burn through you wallet dry. His name is Ganesh Shenoy and he's the top dog of the Amway corporation and he's affiliated with Hemant and Smitha Sahela. ATO needs to step in and shut down these cons for tax evasion.

A friend wants me to join a “business opportunity” requiring ₹5–10 lakh — QNET/VDSC. Is this legit?

A friend recently approached me about joining his “business,” which he says is growing extremely fast. He showed me his lifestyle, talked about his Malaysia trip, iPhone, MacBook, etc., and seemed to be doing pretty well.

He then arranged a Zoom meeting with his “senior,” who was supposedly a multi-millionaire, owns a BMW, is planning to move to the UAE, and is extremely successful in this business.

Before the senior joined, my friend and another guy spent around 30 minutes telling me how lucky I was, how this business had changed their lives, about expensive bikes/cars and multiple foreign trips they had planned.

The senior eventually joined and gave me the usual success story — apparently he had failed at 50+ businesses before finding this one, which supposedly transformed his life. He said doctors, bankers, etc. had joined and even left their professions because this business is more profitable.

I asked what I would actually have to do. He said I don't need any skills, they'll train me, and my main role is basically connecting customers with sellers. They supposedly sell products from brands like Sharp, Kent, etc., and the company handles shipping.

When I asked about the investment, he avoided giving me a number and said he wanted to see whether I was truly committed first. He also said they can help arrange loans through their “banker partners” and that I would receive products, watches, jewellery, trips, etc. worth the money.

After he left, I finally asked my friend and the other guy how much I would actually need.

₹5–10 LAKH.

I was expecting maybe ₹40–50k, so this completely shocked me.

They said this was apparently for some kind of “international selling rights” and that I could easily repay the loan because the business makes so much money.

The biggest red flag for me was when I said I'd need to discuss this with my parents. They specifically told me not to tell my parents because they wouldn't understand this “new-age business” and would probably say no. They even offered to help me arrange a loan.

The company name they gave me is VDSC, which they said is connected to QNET.

Also, one thing that really stood out: this “multi-millionaire” senior didn't remotely look like what I had been led to expect. He had obvious gutka/khaini-stained teeth and was dressed very ordinarily. I'm not saying someone needs expensive clothes to be rich, but after being told repeatedly that this guy was a multi-millionaire with a BMW and huge business success, I honestly expected something different.

So now I'm confused.

Has anyone here actually been involved with QNET/VDSC or knows how this business works?

Is this legitimate direct selling, MLM/network marketing, or something I should stay away from?

I especially want to hear from people who have actually joined and can explain where the ₹5–10 lakh goes and how people genuinely make money from it.

I haven't paid anything yet and I'm trying to do my research before making a potentially very expensive mistake. I saw a lot of post here so here am I.
