Is it possible to fix car frame with rust?

Just realized that our car has some rust spots and holes in the frame and I'm wondering if this is something that can be patched or is not done. When I looked on Google I could only find places in the US but not locally so I'm thinking maybe it's not something that's done around here. It's for a second car that's used for around town we put about 4000km per year on it

YQM - Travel Question

As I am not familiar with the area, if I am travelling from Silverwood Park area to the concert grounds, what is that like? Think more driving wise - is it crazy to get around, or is it managed well?

TIA.

FOUND CAT (extremely orange)

Cassidy Street. This fella was yelling under my car, now he's yelling in my house, walking on my laptop, knocking shit over etc. Extremely friendly despite his objections to captivity.

No collar but this is definitely somebody's cat, he walked right into my house and is very clean. Hopefully somebody here recognizes him? (I've also posted on the Moncton Lost and Found Pets FB group and will report him to PAWS tomorrow morning).

Food Truck for a Wedding

Planning a wedding in the Hillsborough area in 2027, and hoping to book a food truck instead of catering. Any suggestions?

E-Bikes/Scooters

Maybe it’s time Moncton adopts a policy on these things. No helmets, zipping up and down streets at 40+km/h, no license, registration and more.

Those Vespa type scooters a few years ago required a full license and insurance/registration. But now it’s the Wild West and someone is definitely going to be killed - just a matter of time.

Moving to Moncton

Hello Moncton Redditers!

I need your help. I am deciding between moving to Moncton or Toronto. I know the choices are crazy.

I am 26 and I work a completely remote corporate job, so essentially have the ability to move anywhere. I love New Brunswick, I love the people I have met there, and the environment is to die for.

But I am scared that I will sign a lease in Moncton and not be able to make any friends my age. It’s important for me to build a support system, but I am seeing mixed comments about the social life in Moncton.

So, a few questions:

  1. What do you do in Moncton for fun?
  2. Would it be difficult to move to Moncton and make friends my age (in the later 20s)?
  3. Is there anything else I should know if I do choose to move to Moncton (I.e. any tips and tricks)?

Thank you all so much for the help!

Where to look for stolen bikes near Magnetic Hill

Family is staying at a hotel near Magnetic Hill. Had one of our bikes stolen off the back of our van (3 different locks on it). Very much ruining some of our plans the rest of the trip. There is an expensive lock that is likely preventing the thief from riding it, but they also used tools to cut through a cable lock. I’ve submitted an online police report, asked for video from the parking lot already. I don’t need any of that advice

Any idea where stolen property ends up in the area? Any pawn shops that are frequented by the local dirtbags?

Who can I discuss my work-related issue with?

Hello, I am in a mess and at a loss right now, can anyone who understands work-related laws or regulations reach out to me please? I am pretty new in NB, so many things I have not known yet and my resources are very limited. Thank you very much!

Addendum: I wanted to share some details but if anyone reading was related to my work, they might read some pattern and identify who I am and I can get in more trouble

Oultons

How is it the Oultons and likely other schools can advertise 90%+ employment rates when they're filling up classes for jobs that only have 2-5 openings in the province?

They seem like such a scam.

Best rustproofing in town?

Hey folks, just looking for the best rustproofing in town.

I used Krown in Fredericton when I used to live there but had issues with coverage - they left a lot of the vehicle bare and claimed that was how it's supposed to be. I like the Krown product but looking at Moncton location reviews, a few people complained about coverage as well.

So if Krown is a no go, where's the best place that'll actually coat the vehicle properly?
