I saw another post experimenting with applying another coat of base coat prior to the QDTC to help keep the magnetized effect more stable. Two days later, I can confirm that I do notice it hasn't shifted very much, if at all. Magnetized each coat for about 45 seconds to 1 minute each.

I used 30lbs glass bead spinner for the effect and I feel like I’m wearing jewels on my fingers. They also sort of remind me of olives lol. One hand I used acetone and the other I used jojoba oil to prep and will give an update later this week. (I heard the oil can help polish chip less)

I've been building my cart for awhile.. avoiding other polishes that might be dupes or like anything else I have in my 70 bottle collection. I only have 2 mooncats currently, Melonberry and Soul 404. I think outlaw country and atomica might be too close. That is a finish I think I like hence why I also have Nightbreak and Such Sweet Sorrow. I saw SSS on the rewards and love the color. I am cool toned. No Reservations by Cracked is my favorite polish in my collection and maybe I don't need SSS.

Machineel tree is not my color, but I have nothing like it. I have nothing like Living Doll or Merkitten and I would like the best representations of these colors from any maker in my collection. Are they stunning? as these are really my colors and I have been waiting awhile to acquire them. I don't mind the prices, but I'll always wait for a sale, which is what I'm doing now.

I'm excited for a lot of these to finally be mine, any thoughts you might have are welcome. I know the cart questions seem repetitive sometimes so tyia for any input!

first time posting ! i've been on a nail polish kick ever since i bought my first mooncat polish 3 months ago, and i haven't been disappointed once ! received this color in my most recent purchase and im obsessed so i had to share it ! :)

Things have finally calmed down enough for me to make a post lol. I was gifted a nail appointment for my wedding from a friend, and the first photo is what I walked out with on Thursday. I HATED it so much lol, it was giving Christmas. The next few photos are after she redid them on Friday, she was awesome about it and did not make me feel bad at all for needing them redone. I still think I could've done a better job because the bits of dark polish that she didnt completely remove were bothering me, but the pink velvet magnetic was a much better and more bridal look. They will look nice in the photos once I get those back 😊

The last photos are of what I did yesterday. I did 2 coats of Devil's Ivy on top of the wedding nails because I get bored too quickly lol. Topped it off with one coat of Speed Demon. I am dreading removing the gel nails because I'm so used to the quick removal of lacquer, but am happy with the velvetized Devil's Ivy for now!

Doing a multi-post since my heads been spinning lately and I’m fighting off depression/anxiety due to the fact that my dream wedding which is less than three weeks away is being pulled from under my feet. Last week everything was fine I was at the point where I was ready to relax and plan decorating and getting ready to see my family and friends who are traveling from all over to see me get married to my partner of eleven years! (My hs sweetheart) 🤍 last week I got my hair done in preparation, I threw on an untried (momento mori!) which was one of my contestants to wear down the aisle- she’s ghastly and neutral with spice and to me I’d consider this a beautiful off white on myself (I know people either hate this or love it as it is nearly a flesh toned color, but I love the naked elegant nail look where my claws just blend into my hands!) so this one wowed me and I didn’t expect to love it so much. Still undecided though. (It’s between stolen kiss, pearl clutcher which was my #1 option from last year, and then this one or even Clare de lune!) so still have to make decision!

Anyway I just got a phone call from my fiancees mom (i was getting married on her sisters land/property near the woods and river- right across from the Airbnb they have and were letting me and my bridesmaids use) that they decided they cannot handle having our wedding anymore- and we needed to figure something else out LESS than three weeks out. I have family and friends traveling from out of state that took of work and spent money to come meet her family and see us get married! Not only that but we already spent a few thousand dollars on decorations and renting the tent and tables and chairs which are already there… the location is perfect and sentimental to us because it’s our favorite time of the year- it’s outside on the countryside so surrounded by woods and nature and the river, my aisle is literally giant trees where we were gonna walk down with mums and pumpkins- overlooking the river behind us and her parents even homemade us our own intricate arch. I’ve had this vision for over two years… the food is planned and supposed to be prepared on their outdoor flattop grill. And they completely transformed the property just for this event and her aunt was even supposed to be the one to wed us- which bonus! She has even backed out of doing that and letting us use the airbnb.

This was a gift from them when we got engaged as they know we don’t have a lot of money and neither of our families do- I would’ve just eloped and not had a wedding rn had they not offered the gift to accommodate our big family and friends (about sixty people) now I wish we had paid them instead of it being a gift; or signed a contract or something because now I feel screwed over and completely overwhelmed with having to scramble and figure out something else this close out and know even if I do it’s not gonna be as beautiful as expected. And I need to start telling my family and friends plans have changed and that I’m still having a wedding but the location changed. And I’m dreading all of this now. The reason why is complicated her husband got injured a few days ago and will be okay- however they gave us the property already and there’s no legitimate reason why I couldn’t have just hired someone else to marry us and they allowed us to use the property but his fiancee apparently just can’t mentally handle it anymore even though we’ve offered to handle literally everything and even absolved her of the responsibility of marrying us.

My best to make it as great as I can all things considering cause at the end or the day I still will get to marry my best friend with my family and friends and hopefully can still pull it off even if now it’s not gonna be as beautiful) now I’m also worried about finances as I’ve spent all that money already. Now having to find a place we can afford, that can still work with our catering, and now even find a place to sleep and get ready the day of and before.

Please send all the love and positivity this way as I’m fully mourning this situation and trying not to show my fiancé how devastated I am and soldier on and try and make this thing still work. Today going to drive an hour away to a potential spot which Is just okay… but not the vibes we wanted however I am no position to be picky as I’m desperate at this point. Can’t wait to change my mani and decompress right now- right now I’m wearing nyyrian nights which I do I love 💕

This week I have Queen of Chaos on (last pic), which is also stunning, but I'm already looking forward to switching back on my next nail day (Sunday) 💅🏻

++ shout out to the Nail Elixir - using it daily is the only reason my cuticles are finally improving for the first time since I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease years ago!

I got my first ever Mooncat order yesterday and decided to start off by using “Am I everything you fear?”. It’s so beautiful! Pictures and even videos don’t do it justice but I tried.

I did use a base coat and top coat but not from Mooncat.

I couldn't stop staring at it all day!!!! x1 hardcore basecoat, x1 getting even nail primer, 1x Nyarrian nights, x1 coat Nyarrian nights magnetized for 60 seconds, 1x speed demon magnetized for 60 seconds.

Used the mooncat horseshoe magnet and two neodymium bar magnets diagonally across the top.
