nu ik een nieuwe motor aan het aanschaffen ben was ik eens aan het kijken voor mijn verzekering aansluiting.
Ik kan voor 'de meest populaire' optie gaan wat enkel de verplichte aansprakelijkheid is en rechtbijstand.
Maar andere opties zijn bijstand voor je voertuig en ongevallen bestuurder.
Zijn die opties nuttig? Welke opties hebben jullie voor jullie voertuig?
Zijn quads eigenlijk minder welkom bij motorrijders?
Het valt me op dat als ik naar andere motorrijders groet, ik regelmatig geen groet terug krijg. Sommigen groeten wel gewoon terug, maar anderen kijken precies door me heen.
Ligt dat eraan dat ik met een (straat)quad rijd, of is het gewoon zo dat niet iedereen groet?
Ben wel benieuwd naar jullie ervaringen.

ps: does anyone know where the lez camera is when you drive on boulevard industriel?

Net ingeschreven voor rijlessen in november bij Lust in Gent (Expo).
Mijn examen staat gepland eind november om 7h 's ochtends :') In mijn hoofd hoor ik dan:
Sowieso lijkt het me goed om in koude/regenachtige en variabele omstandigheden te leren rijden en ik ga er van uit dat mijn leraar hier ook wel op zal wijzen en me bij helpen. Maar kan geen kwaad om me al wat voor te bereiden en ervaringen te sprokkelen.
Ik rij al tijdje met een 125cc (Honda Monkey), hopelijk kunnen we na de manoeuvres in te studeren snel de baan op, daar maak ik me ergens meeste "zorgen" over. Heb voorlopig nog niet veel in regen/herfst gereden. (Natte bladeren, riooldeksels, witte lijnen, etc...)

Ik ben al enkele dagen aan het wachten op mijn nummerplaat voor nieuwe tweedehands gekochte moto.. hebben anderen hier er ook last van? De track & trace van bpost zegt al een paar dagen 'in productie'.
My exam is next week and one of the tips I picked up in this sub is that you should take corners from the outside to the inside. I understand that, but when is this reasonably applicable? I am practicing around Kontich and there are no corners sharp enough to reasonably use such an approach. The only corner where this is quite applicable is the on-ramp to the E19 at Mechelen South.

I'm a student who has his exam on the road in a week and I've been really busy preparing myself for it. I've already received help from this sub and I'm really grateful that I've gotten so much advice and help.
But for preperation for the exam I would love to know your answer to the question in the titel so I can avoid those pitfalls and train more on them this week.
Also does anyone in this sub now the common exam routes for Kontich?

My chain and sprockets are in dire need of replacement. After shopping around, I chose to order my parts on NR1 Moto. I've ordered there before and they offer quality parts for a good price.
On the website, everything went well. You select your bike and the website gives you the right sizes (or so I thought). I had to look up the right chain length for my bike, but that's fine. I placed my order.
A couple days later, I got notified some parts are on backorder (the website said they were in stock). Fine, I'll wait. After a week, of communication, I get notified they will be sending the front sprocket and chain already and will send the rear sprocket when it's in stock.
The parts arrive, I struggle getting the front sprocket off, but finally, I get it (after buying a breaker bar). Out with the old, in with the new. I install the front sprocket and prepare to put the new chain on, only to realise it's the wrong pitch... They sent me a 520 chain instead of a 525...
I check back on their website, go through the same steps and yep, their tool chooses the wrong chain...
Now I'm stuck. The old chain is cut and I can't move on with the repairs.
Guess I'll have to take the bicycle to work again, for the third week in a row...
Check your invoices guys. Don't trust the tools they use.
I just got my bike and temporary drivers license, I drove 1000 km's in a week but I'm the only one in my environment with this hobby.

Qu'en pensez vous ?

I'm a student who lives in the Flanders area, and I have a temporary motorcycle license. My test for my full license is on the 7th of July, and I'm kinda scared. I've only been riding on the road since the beginning of June, like 2-3 times a week.
Now that my exams are over, I'm planning on riding 5-6 times a week until the 7th of July to gain as much experience as possible. But I've been told I started way too late and I'm probably going to fail. I'm also going to have a 2-hour session with my local driving school just before the practical exam.
Am I cooked? Or is it still realistic for me to pass? I'm getting pretty good, but I noticed that I still make a few mistakes.
Please help because I'm honestly getting kind of scared.
Hoi! Binnen enkele dagen heb ik mijn examen A in Kortessem. Ik ben na het behalen van mijn voorlopig rijbewijs alleen met een eigen motor gaan oefenen. Een maand geleden had ik nog een les genomen om feedback ge vragen over mijn rijtechniek. Eerste keer was ik gebuisd op snelheid (te traag/ niet vlot genoeg). Ondertussen ben in enkele examenroutes, die ik online gevonden heb, gedaan en deze gaan volgens mij goed. Toch, wanneer ik in een omgeving terechtkom die ik niet goed ken, lijkt het alsof ik onbewust vertraag omdat ik me te fel op de weg concentreer..
Hebben jullie over het algemeen tips voor mij en zaken waarop ik best kan letten?
Btw hoe kijken ze naar schakelen? Ik heb vooral moeite om in te schatten in welke versnelling ik moet staan bij het afslaan op een kruispunt zonder dat ik moet stoppen. Ik doe dit nu in 1ste of 2de. Tips hiervoor?
Moest iemand recente gpx hebben en deze met mij zou willen welen dan zou het top zijn!
