Feels like I'm going crazy

Is anyone else experiencing multiple Bluetooth issues like:

- devices not staying connected

- devices disconnecting and reconnecting

- just not staying connected

- and just non-stop issues

Anyone have modem issues?

I had visible with my OnePlus open. Worked great.

Now I'm on the fold, and it feels like the data is constantly getting stuck. Almost like the modem shuts off, then has to reboot before working again. So it'll sit there and try to load with nothing happening, then it'll start working. I also have had a ton of issues with people not being able to hear me when I'm on the phone as they think I have poor service. I'll have half to 3/4 bars and people say I'm cutting out.

I figured maybe visible just doesn't work well so I tried Google fi, which should utilize different bands. It's no better, maybe even worse, with lots of loading with little to no data, even on 5g+, with again half or more bars.

Just asking before I try contacting moto support

2 sims question

Quick question. If you have 2 SIM cards can one be set for data, and the other for calls/texts? Simultaneously?

Another lurker in the.. um... fold.

I currently have a Samsung S22U. Had it since the S23 came out, and it's served me well. I've been watching Folds for a while, and want one as my next phone; was rather disappointed that the Samsung Fold 8 will not support S-Pen though. I use the stylus a lot more than I thought I would, and just do not want to give up stylus support. I'd probably have a Trifold by now if it had a stylus. (I've heard from some who use a third party stylus, but it's just not the same as built-in support.) I'm also seeing reviews saying the battery and camera of the Razr are better than the Fold 8, but I would rather hear opinions from people who actually use the phones (as opposed to someone who is paid to say "The new King of phones!")

I'd like to know how the Moto Fold's stylus compares from someone who had used the Samsung S-Pen and went to a Razr Fold. Based on what I have read, the Moto Razr stylus has the same screen writing capability as an S-Pen, which is what I want. I also like that the inner folding screen supports the stylus - if I'm going to take notes and annotate pics, it would be on the larger screen.

Another clarification I'm looking for. The S22U lets me change what AI gets used by programming the side button. Right now, I'm using Gemini, but I could use Bixby if I wanted (I don't.) I also use the Meli app to track my medical issues, and could change the side button to bring that up. Depending on where I read, either the Moto Razr Fold does allow that, or it only allows the Moto AI app or No Action. Which is it? Is the side button programmable, or is that a Samsung thing?

Another thing I just saw in a post here - no Qi charging? The Qi charger I just bought won't work unless I get the right case for it?

Amazing Battery Life!!

I don't game. Mostly surf, phone, Android Auto, take pictures/video, play music, etc.

Compared to my S23U, S22+ and (shitty battery) Pixel 10 Pro XL this phones battery is mind blowing.

Does fast wireless charging work with the Thinborne case?

I wanted to confirm before I got it. Other cases give me an error.

If not, I'll get a Komodoty case and add a magnet myself.

Screen delay when opening or closing my fold

Has any one experienced this when opening or closing their fold? I just got it last week. I don't think it's normal. I have tried everything that chatgpt told me to fix and nothing worked. I came from a Google Pixel pro 9 fold and never had this issue. The razr fold is very buggy or it's just my luck. Please help

Repeated requests to enable modem diagnostics

I get a notification about once a week to enable modem diagnostics. I do so, but it doesn't seem to stick. If I enable it and swipe back to the Settings page it turns off.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any explanation or solution to keep this from repeating?

$35 Aramid Fiber Case Finally Arrived 😍🔥

Generally because of the thickness of foldables (even the z fold 7) I rock Aramid fiber cases for minimal bulk to add some protection and magsafe capabilities. At launch there were really no options readily available but now there are plenty. This one was $36 after tax on AliExpress (at the time, I think they are like $40-$45 now), and took about 9 days from the time it shipped until the time it arrived. I'll also say it's been almost perfect so far besides having to add some adhesive (double sided 4mm tape on the back cover's edge near the hinge because it would marginally lift every time I pulled my magnetic kickstand off. The front piece needed a little extra adhesive too at the bottom because it would move whenever I rested my finger on the bezel/case to close the phone. I have the armor suit screen protector and it works with that 99 percent minus a very very small bubble in the left corner that doesn't seem to go away but also doesn't get bigger either so will probably ignore.

Overall very happy with the purchase. If you want minimal bulk but want to add magsafe and some protection, Aramid fiber cases are definitely the way to go.

I had a few more pics but half didn't upload due to the file format 🤦🏾‍♂️

Will provide a link to the case in a separate comment just so the OP doesn't get removed.

Charging time?

How long does it take for you guys to get to 100% with turbo power? Or is there a level above turbo power? I use a 120w charger from OnePlus .that charger charges my open in 45 to an hour but the Razr Fold takes over 2 hrs.

What charger do you guys use to get the fastest charging thats not the official Motorola one for 100 bucks?

Any experience with this case?

Does it have a built in screen protector? (I hope not)

Is the magnet lined up properly for magsafe charging without errors?

Razr Fold Thinborne Hinge Case

So as we know there's is no Aramid fiber case with hinge protection. I am one of those who prefers hinge protection on my phone, but all the hinge protection cases on Amazon are super bulky.

At the suggestion of another redditor I ordered a detachable magnetic hinge protector from Ali Express which came today. I ordered the style for the oppo find n6 since they don't sell hinge protector for razr fold. As you can see, it works perfectly and the dimensions match. It has a strip with adhesive that goes on the back of the phone and then I snapped the Thinborne case on top of it and it looks pretty slick while protecting the entire phone. It's thin and while it has adhesives, I don't think you need it because the magnets hold it to the hinge. The look is identical to this Thinborne case. It took about 10 days to get here but well worth it for full protection and a good feel in the hand.

How do I turn off the "Open in Split Screen?" pop up that shows up at the top?

It's annoying because it gets in the way too much. How do I turn that off? Thank you!

What Are Some Things That I Should Know About The Motorola Razr Fold?

I'm going to be upgrading to The Motorola Razr Fold from The Fold 7. And I want to know what to expect and want to make sure that there aren't any unexpected surprises. I want to make sure that all my Apps will transfer over and work on The Motorola Razr Fold without any issues. I also want to make sure that all my Music Files will transfer over and play on The Motorola Razr Fold without any issues at all. What App did everyone else use to transfer everything over to their Motorola Razr Fold? Are the Emojis the same as on The Fold 7? I'm going to be buying The Motorola Razr Fold from T Mobile.

Wireless Android Auto Freezes

I had an issue where Android Auto would disconnect wirelessly and then auto reconnect. At times I would have to soft reset the Android Auto device (aftermarket rearview mirror). Then I got an update. Now my screen freezes and I only have the option to pull power and restart the device.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
