Perhaps it is wiser, after all, not to explain it...

No doubt, choosing not to explain your art is the wiser choice, allowing multiple interpretations for keeping the admirers engaged...

I mean it wouldn't have been that much fun if every work of Lynch had an official commentary on it...the lynchian element of these films ,if not completely then somehow, is driven by their abstract obscurity...

Don’t you think a great work of art can be ruined by having its meaning officially explained?
