It was fun to paint!
At first I tried painting some cities for the plains but the results were terrible so I asked my client to pick different plains, and here's the final result!

An homage to the classic Ancient Tomb printed in Tempest illustrated by Colin MacNeil. Figured I'd create a proxy of it, since it's easier and cheaper than finding a real one lol!

Only recently got into painting in general. This is the second card ive done so far (The other being deadly recluse for my spider tribal deck).
Still very basic but i was proud of it and wanted to show it off to someone else :)
Painted this over a 0/0 artifact creature as my buddy’s Urza Saga token.
Painted with acrylics, took so long to do the muscle fibers, but I think it paid off.

For anyone unfamiliar with Whatnot, it’s a platform for buying and selling across a wide variety of categories. The easiest way to describe it is a mix of Twitch-style live streaming and eBay-style auctions.
For this stream, I’ll be running a wheel with 131 total spots. Each spin will be $7, and once the grand prize has been claimed, spins will drop to $5 each.
The wheel uses Whatnot’s built-in randomized system, which cannot be altered by sellers or buyers. That means every spin is completely random — the grand prize could theoretically be hit on the very first spin at 1 in 131 odds, with the chances improving as the wheel progresses.

I did these two alters a few months apart. I really like this card; now I can’t decide if I like more the first (greener/lighter) or the second version (bluer/darker).

everything but the blood crypt, gamble, and brash taunter are all foils, and the heatran has that specific radiant foiling they used that set
