I feel like this should be an obvious feature but I cannot work it out at all and maybe it’s not possible?

I am currently in China, use the vpn to access Google etc, but with apps like Alipay and others it doesn’t like the vpn I think because it confuses the location services. So rather than constantly turning the vpn on and off I’d just like to add Alipay and others onto a ‘disable’ list so it leaves those alone..

Is that possible?

It's been developing for about half a year now, and I have seen some posts related to it: the outfacing IP addresses are progressively getting banned or blocked by many services. Youtube now has blocked all the servers I want to use (Central EU), the local online retailer has blocked a portion of the pool as well. Reddit as well for about a year now. Etc.

I've a free test account by another VPN provider in EU (big one, known one) which I use quickly to confirm whether it's another issue or Mullvad being blocked, and 100% of the times for now that other VPN server doesn't get blocked while Mullvad does.

I've just now cycled through all the servers available in the region I want to use, and all of them are blocked by Youtube at least. Getting tired of it.

Edit: for got to add, HBO Max and Netflix block Mullvad as well. Not a problem with that other VPN I use for testing.

Hello mullvad vpn users i just bought it and its so far great but what would be the fastest country for me? İ live in turkey and i need speed for gaming while also bypassing cencorships would be happy if yall could help

So you obviously get an account number type thing or login number when signing up. Is that number connected to anything or any data? I know that it says on the website that they collect no data. Also, how does it work if you use a credit card or similar to pay?

I'm thinking about getting back on Mullvad subscription and using it pretty much 24/7 due to some security concerns. But my internet is now different and I'm behind CG-NAT, so I wonder if I could also use this service to forward some ports and if there are limitations on this? I need both TCP and UDP.

Has anyone found a server that works with Imgur? I have tried all the servers in NY, NJ, Virginia, and Georgia. None have worked. I used to use 801 in NYC which worked great for years but then it got shut down.

On some servers the page won't load at all (I get a server overloaded error) and on others the page loads but none of the images do. Turning the VPN off, immediately allows it to work correctly.

Pros

• Feels super safe. Every feature I've never seen before, I looked up to find it solves a privacy issue I was never even aware of.
• Popups about blocking popups are helpful to see what goes on in websites.
• Overall is the most locked down browser I have ever used.

Cons (If any of these problems can be solved, PLEASE tell me how!)

• Mullvad is apparently so locked down that I can't properly import my passwords. I've had to open other browsers which have my passwords stored just to find them.
• Mullvad blocks a lot of incoming and outgoing traffic, including Reddit, Zoom, torrent/magnet links, video game client and online forum login links. I have to switch my default browser to open links between different programs every time.
• A slower workflow, less friendly for study, office work, people who constantly log in and out of online accounts.

Overall, Mullvad seems to be an excellently private browser that is way safer than any mainstream option. However, it feels like it's so locked down that it blocks the regular necessities a browser should have. I have to turn to other browsers for some of the most basic things like passwords and external links. Are there ways to fix this so Mullvad can work as my one&only daily driver? Or am I better off with a browser like Zen or LibreWolf? Any advice or comments are appreciated.

full speed when not connected, 2mbps when connecting. nothing on my home setup is any different. Anyone Else?

For the last few days I've been noticing some endpoints on Mullvad result in an infinite captcha refresh when you click on Cloudflare's 'verify you are a human' prompt. I was previously able to get around this by changing to different nodes. As of today, it appears every single node is resulting in an infinite captcha refresh. Try the linked site (macrotrends.net) which has Cloudflare protection to test for yourself.

Anyone know what's going on/seeing the same issue?

I live in Australia. Is it 'safe' to connect to your home country, since it obviously has the best speeds, or is it not recommended?

For the last couple of months it's worked just fine and bypassed the new stupid age I.D laws without issue, but a day or two ago it just stopped working on twitter. I've tried the Website and the app and my VPN no longer works on either. Is this a problem with the VPN, or has twitter just gotten another shitty update? Edit: For clarification, I VPN into Canada, which doesn't enforce age ID laws yet, and that's worked for bypassing age ID laws on Twitter without issues for months. It just randomly stopped working a few days ago.

AFTER EACH UPDATE IT GETS MORE AND MORE CLUTTERED, BUT THIS TIME REALLY DID IT.

LOOKING FOR MY SERVER CITY IS ANNOYING NOW AND THE PLAYLIST ISN'T NECESSARY.

WHAT GIVES, WHEN I USED TO HIT REFRESH THE IP OUT WOULD CHANGE, BUT NOW IT REMAINS STATIC.

NOT A GOOD TIME TO RETURN TO MULLVAD.

I'm currently contemplating between IVPN and Mullvad.

I need my VPN for mainly privacy and torrents.

Also I need it to not be easily blocked by my college's wifi.

And have good Linux support.

Why should I choose Mullvad?

Youtube seems to lock down on vpn´s i constantly run into region locks while using german servers.

My planning wasn’t the best and I’m scrambling to get a VPN on my PC in China (already here…).

I ended up going with MullVad, but the thing is I’m seriously unable to install it on my PC. Phone is working fine, I installed it from the App Store. However, GitHub seems to be blocked by firewall and so is the website itself, so I’m really struggling to install the application.

I barely managed it by burning through data for the executor, but the actual VPN installer itself is truly barely scraping by.

Any suggestions???

EDIT: I tethered my iPhone to my laptop w the cable, and this made the data speed/connection (?) go way up so I was able to finish the install super quickly!! Originally my hotspot through data wasn’t working, but the connection helped so if anyone else has this problem try that. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions!

Haven't been able to login/connect from my Macbook for a couple of weeks. Get this screen with few options to troubleshoot. Have sent email/details through next screen.

Any thoughts/info would be greatly appreciated.
