Is muscimol safe to use while taking ADHD meds?
I'm an experienced drug user, but have not ever tried any form of amanita muscaria. For some reason I was under the impression that this mushroom was an anticholinergic deliriant. When I found out that muscimol acts as a direct GABA-A receptor agonist, I suddenly became much more interested.
I've ordered some muscimol isolate from healing herbals, hoping to occasionally use an extremely low dose at the end of the day to help me sleep. I saw somebody describe it as "mystical diazepam" and instantly knew I wanted to try it.
I'm on a daily morning dose of Vyvanse, is that going to interfere with muscimol taken in the evening? I can always try it on one of my days off if they're not safe to use together.
I've also noticed an annoying lack of experience reports of muscimol isolate, including from the healing herbals vendor I ordered it from. My order is supposed to get here next week, I'm planning on making a tincture to volumetrically dose with and starting at ~2mg. Whatever happens, I will make sure to come back and give a full write up so others can establish whether this vendor is reliable.
I would also love any additional harm reduction tips or advice or any insight on what to expect. What have your muscimol experiences been like?
