Recent surgery on my ankle means I’m stuck on the sofa with my leg elevated for a while. I decided it’s the perfect time to make some friends.

Already working on #2.

First time following this pattern, I'm fairly new to crochet so this was a nice challenge!

If you're wondering why his undercap looks so wavy, it's because I was worried the stuffing would escape through the big triple-crochet holes so I pre-emptively sewed them shut. So that was a mistake

I'm still very happy with how it came out and how absolutely Shaped he is

I just finished him, I'm obsessed 😁 I ran out of white to do the spots but my sister (who this is for) didn't care. I have plans for an inky cap inspired mushroom guy in the near future
