MyWhoosh - difference in power data from game and from trainer.

Hi everybody,

Because I received warnings from the RaceControl Team over my last few rides stating that my main power source did not match my secondary source, I conducted a small test during this week's final SRC ride. I registered data from five different points for comparison:

  • First point: Official data stored in the MW game, where the Kickr V5 was connected as the main power source (with resistance controlled via Bluetooth), and the secondary power source was the Assioma Duo Pro pedals.
  • Second point: Data from a second MW game instance running on another laptop, passively recording power via Direct Connect (Ethernet).
  • Third point: Data from the Kickr V5 passively recording power on an Edge 1040 via ANT+.
  • Fourth point: Data from the Assioma Pro pedals recorded on a third MW client running on a tablet.
  • Fifth point: Data from the Giant Power Pro crank power meter recorded on an Edge 1040 Solar.

As you can see, the data from point 1 is clearly different from the data collected at the other four points.
Of course i recieved ANL from ride
How its possible that power data from the same source Kickr V5 are so different in MW with control than other ones?
anybody have experience with that?
i google little bit and found that it could be DATA OVER REPORTING or control loop lag.
what i could do to "fix" it. i just want ride without stress that my effort at the end will be canceled.
Anyone any idea?
Thanks in advance.

MYWoosh with Merarch S26

Hello,
I purchased this bike (Merarch S26) but I'm unable to detect power on the mywoosh app, even though it connect to the bike successfully. I have tried using the official merarch bike and it detect the bike power and pedaling. So the issue must be from MyWoosh side. Could you help me?

Wahoo KICKR CORE 2 + MyWhoosh: Connection issues, 0 watts when pedaling – anyone else?

I’m using a Wahoo KICKR CORE 2 with a Xiaomi Pad 7 and MyWhoosh. The trainer connects as a power source, but when I start pedaling, it shows 0 watts. It never works on the first try.

The official workaround from both MyWhoosh and Wahoo support: Open the Wahoo app, connect the trainer, then open MyWhoosh, connect the trainer again, and close the Wahoo app. This sometimes works, but it’s unreliable and in the end takes up to 5 minutes of fiddling every single time.

Does anyone else experience this?

Has support offered a permanent fix, or does the community have tips to make this connection stable?

I just want to hop on, open the app, and start riding without the hassle.

A Million Dollars: What the MyWhoosh Championships Actually Are

The honest expectation for most of us isn’t a payday. It’s the $700 gift pack and the “experience”.

MyWhoosh update method

MW often does very long download/update when I launch the app on my MacBook (although I use my MacBook daily)

Anybody knows if I were to use iPhone/ipad, Would MyWhoosh update in background during new updates automatically in the background before I ever launch the app?

Or would it only update after I launch the app (similar to my MacBook)?

Magene speed sensor overestimating Watts on spin bike

Hey everyone,

I just bought a pair of Magene sensors (Cadence + Speed) to use with my stationary spin bike (BH Fitness).

The cadence sensor works perfectly, but the speed sensor is giving me insane numbers. Because spin bikes have a heavy flywheel that spins very fast with low resistance, the apps (Zwift/MyWhoosh) think I'm constantly pushing 350W - 450W+ without even trying.

Since these apps don't let me manually adjust the wheel size to compensate for the flywheel, my avatar is just flying at 50+ km/h.

Is there any workaround or specific trainer profile I can select to make the virtual power more realistic? I just want to use it for weight loss and cardio.

Thanks!

Mywhoosh on android and BLE HRMs

Can somebody please finally explain, whether it's expected for mywhoosh to be able to connect to BLE HRMs directly?

More context: I've been using mywhoosh for half a year now. I have 2 different brands BLE HRMs (cycplus and rockbros).

Both HRMs can be successfully used directly from rouvy and zwift.

But mywhoosh (on the same device obviously) cannot see either. Hence I use them through the kickr core 2 bridge (which has its own limitations, but that's another story).

Question: does anyone have successful experience of using BLE HRM on anrdoid directly? If so - what model it is?

Season pass 4

Can season pass 4 no longer be played in free mode like it used to be with the previous ones?

I did 2 rides yesterday and they did not contribute to it (still 0 points)
