Billboards

I live in Albuquerque. A few months ago, there was a billboard with Nancy's picture and reward info on I-40, which is basically Route 66.

I hadn't seen it in a while and now it's up again. Anyone else in the southwest seeing these? I'm wondering why they are up again all of a sudden.

Spit Balling My Thoughts Into The Ether

It feels like the motive is ‘get back’ for reasons yet to be known, aimed to hurt Nancy’s daughter, Savannah, in order to take something away from Savannah that she cherished, loved, valued, will forever miss, and can never have back.

What about Savannah’s children, you might ask? There are killers out there with “ethics” when it comes to harming children, as crazy as that may sound—which may or not be the case with these particular suspects, but it COULD be the case. But we also have to factor in practicality and logistics.

Savannah’s children, along with her husband, could’ve been targets initially, but logistically, given the isolated and easily accessible home where Nancy lived alone, it made her the easiest target.

I still believe the FBI is going through the extensive process of investigative genealogy from dna recovered (given the overall lack of physical and digital evidence in this case) and it will ultimately lead to this case being solved.

Perhaps the best lead for now could still come from Savannah herself. Any type of strange or peculiar interaction she can remember that struck her as odd or threatening in the past.

Maybe Savannah played a role in getting someone fired from a job, or caused their marriage to collapse, turned somebody down who asked her for money, —> passed over a contractor for a big job (or a continuous service that would’ve provided a steady stream of revenue for them), and opted to go with a cheaper competitor instead (leading to a business going under or someone’s home being foreclosed) etc.

Side Note: It might not even be outside the realm of possibility of all this being over something small or petty, where Savannah or Nancy herself, let’s say complained to the manager of a restaurant over poor service or cold food, and ultimately it caused the server or the cook to become quietly enraged to the point where it led them to orchestrating the abduction and murder of Nancy. Sometimes even the smallest thing can push someone over the edge.

Sure, the same type of planning doesn’t go into it, but I’ve heard of people getting blown away over cold fries at Burger King, so I’m just saying..

But anyway, back to what I was saying..

Leaving Nancy to be found dead at home would ultimately provide Savannah with a level of comfort and closure. Yes, that would’ve been the easiest thing to do for whomever planned and perpetrated this crime, but I don’t believe that’s what they wanted.

Taking Nancy out of her home to never be seen again causes Savannah immense emotional pain and anguish. Somebody did not want Savannah to have answers for her questions.

This crime feels like it’s rooted deeply in causing an unspeakable amount of psychological pain to Savannah—perhaps the type of pain Savannah made the funder of this operation, or the suspects feel themselves, at some point in the past.

Does anyone know how many cameras Nancy had in total?

We are aware of the front porch camera and the one that sat stop the casita and focused on the straight part of her driveway and the garage. I'm curious if she had one near her bedroom as well or around the back side of the house.

My personal theory is that the 1:47am motion detected on the camera was someone in fact disabling one of the other cameras - it possibly didn't catch anything, but maybe it did, and the 2:12am person/intruder detected was the porch footage we have seen. This would give possibility that the perps had already entered the home by the time that we see porch guys performance on the front door camera. I think he opened the back doors & gate to prevent them locking behind him on the way out.

My other hypothesis is that he used the weeds to create some sort of fake storm theory so if she saw the camera notification that she would think it was just wind or something messing with the camera. At first it looks as if he was going to knock and then doesn't, so I also wondered if he just straight up knocked to have her open the door to the house. You would think she would just open the other doors without opening the screen door though as a safety precaution, so I feel like this hypothesis is out of play. This would have given her time to call 911 if they weren't jamming the signals in the area.

How often did Nancy use Uber?

Do we know how often Nancy used Uber? I know the cops spoke with the Uber driver and obtained a videos from that night, but what about other rides?

Could Nancy have been picked up on another night, the driver chats her up, realizes who she is, how much money she has AND now knows her address? They then plan to go back to the house to rob her maybe days or weeks later, but in the middle of the robbery she comes home, they get into an altercation and she accidentally dies. Now shock takes over and the burglar realizes this just went from a potential misdemeanor to a possible murder charge so they drop everything they were going to steal and in a panic grab her body throw it in their car and decide later what to do.

This, to me, has always felt like an “immature” crime where the original plan somehow went off the rails and the perpetrator(s) panicked and did what they thought was the best solution to not get caught. Just a theory

A landmark case against AI misinformation? Possibly.

The Nancy Guthrie case may be the first big crime where AI has been used extensively to perpetuate false narratives. The amount of videos with crazy AI thumbnails portraying Savannah, Annie and Tomasso as the perpetrators is insane. They, particularly Tomasso, have been smeared so badly by YouTubers posting false information AND manipulated images. This is unlike the “fake news” era of the teens and early 2020’s in that it goes a level deeper because of image and video manipulation.

It’s one thing for investigative reporters to speculate about suspects, as Ashley Banfield did, since they are supposed to analyze all angles and share “tips” and “scoops” from what we hope are credible sources. It’s another thing for random YouTubers to create hundreds of videos with false information and fabricated images to match defamatory statements based on zero facts.

When all is said and done, I do believe the family, especially Annie and Tomasso, have strong grounds for a defamation lawsuit, possibly against individual creators or YouTube for not regulating content more closely.

Who?

Just a thought!!!
Nancy lived in this neighbourhood for over 30 years. She was one of the longest serving members of her community
Everyone says how wonderful Nancy was but what if Nancy didn’t approve of a neighbours behaviour over the last few years
Eg, leaving spot lights on at night, driving atvs and golf carts and like on the streets, loud motorbikes etc. just a few annoying habits.
Has Nancy made complaints to her County Administrator, or her Home Association

If she did and they were totally pissed and threatened her and was the one that abducted her and would have been local to the area.

What if it wasn’t a car but an electric vehicle that they took her away to a local neighbour property with making sure they disabled the camera to stop the identification of the vehicle not so much about their personal identity

I don’t believe it was a ransom at all and whoever took her dismembered or in some other way disposed of her body. (I hate to say this and I’m sorry)

I think this was a family that were involved and I believe she knew her abductor and they were totally pissed with her and had nothing to do with Savannah except to say “lady you think you are rich and smart”. They believe they will never be caught.
