Teenagers throwing stones at a moving local train while making reels

The video was recorded near DIGHA , the person has been identified as Ajay Shinde. According to the claims on internet these dehatis have a group of 10-12 and they are all emerging reel stars and staunch MNS supporters. After the video went viral he uploaded another video claiming he was not actually throwing stone but was only pretending to do so he has deactivated his Insta account so far he hasn't been arrested.

Last month while traveling from chembur to kharghar just before mankhurd station in a similar way someone threw water at me. Please be careful

Robbery alert in seawoods. ⚠️

My aunt's place in Seawoods, sec-23 ride opposite the station got robbed. There are two other robberies in the same area.

The house was empty since 1 month as my aunt was out of town. The robbers seem to be a team of 2, they are skilled and carry tools to cut the locks and even open very strong steel cupboards ( godrej lock system)

Luckily there was no gold/ cash. But we lost watches worth 1 lakh and the house was a mess.

And this actually scares me. What is the most of being a safe City when it's no more safe.

One of the other house is robbed twice in 15 days.

We have complained to the police and they are acquiring the CCTV footage.

Please take care of your houses and especially if you have elderly people living there.

Take care.

Why Indian/Mumbai cops are so corrupt and incompetent?

I’m honestly so fed up with dealing with the police in Mumbai. Almost every interaction I’ve had with them has been unnecessarily frustrating and disappointing.

You go to them for the simplest possible thing, and somehow they’ll make sure you regret ever involving the police in the first place.

There are plenty of incidents I could talk about, but I’ll mention just one that pretty much sums up why I have such a strong dislike for dealing with them.

I had lost my LC (Leaving Certificate). I went to my college to get a duplicate, and they asked me to submit an affidavit on a ₹100 stamp paper along with a copy of a police report stating that the LC was lost/stolen.

Now, being reasonably educated and aware of how things work, I knew I could probably file an online report and get a copy. But apparently, that wasn't acceptable. My college specifically wanted a report from the nearest police station, with a stamped copy.

So, knowing exactly how this was going to go, I took leave from work on a Friday and went to the police station at around 12 PM. I had to submit the documents at college on Saturday, and they had promised me that I would get the duplicate LC the same day.

As soon as I reached the police station, they made me sit and wait.

And wait.

Meanwhile, the cops were casually discussing everything from tiffin boxes to girls to politics and whatever else. They weren't doing anything remotely urgent, but somehow I was the one who had to sit there for hours.

Around 2 PM, I finally asked how much longer it would take.

The response?

"Let bade sahab come."

To this day, I have absolutely no idea why a simple lost-document report required the presence of the "bade sahab."

Anyway, I waited.

And waited.

No bade sahab.

Finally, at around 5:30 PM, the SAME GUY who had been making me wait all this time called me to his desk.

He asked me three things:

Name.

Address.

Time of incident.

That's it.

He entered the details, and within literally 10 seconds, a printout came out of the printer. He stamped it, handed it to me, and I was done.

The entire process that had consumed 5½ hours of my day took approximately one minute.

I walked out of that police station absolutely furious.

It's not even about expecting them to work at lightning speed. It's the complete lack of respect for people's time. If something genuinely requires hours, fine. But if the actual process takes one minute, why make someone sit there for half a day?

This is the kind of experience that makes ordinary people dread going to the police even when they genuinely need their help.

And this is just one of the many experiences I've had.

I genuinely don't understand why basic public services have to feel like you're doing someone a favour by asking them to do their job.

What’s wrong with Autowalas in Kharghar?

They be refusing to go even 1-2 Km? Today there were so many autos waiting in a row but they weren’t ready to go even when my nephew(8 months old) was having high fever. We had to go like 1km-1.5 km (Ganesh mandir sec-35i to Baghban hotel(where a child specialist has a clinic) and they were so rude like either give us 50 rupees or we won’t go.. minimum distance charge is 26 rupees and they were not even ready with 40.

I was like, thoda toh considerate bano aap log.. they started guilt tripping me like nahi hai paisa toh free me chal..! Matlab either you will guilt trip me and offer me charity or you will loot and ask double the amount? But not go on a genuine charge?

Earlier also when my relative came to stay with us for cancer treatment they didn’t used to consider for even cancer patients.. Tata hospital is just 2KM from our place and they always charged 50-70. And 80-100 if they have to go inside. Insane.

Places to run in NM

I’ve recently gotten into running. What are some good parks/ tracks to run in?

I personally don’t want to run on the road, I prefer a closed area. Any recommendations?

Seeking food recomendations

Hey Navi Mumbaikars! 👋

Looking for some really good food recommendations around Belapur X Roads / CBD Belapur. Open to anything — local gems, cafés, great biryani, North Indian, seafood, or just a place you’d strongly recommend.

Bonus points for places that are reasonably priced and have a good vibe. 😄

What are your go-to spots around Belapur?

Looking for a Flatmate | 2BHK | Navi Mumbai

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m looking for someone to share a 2BHK with me. We’ll each have our own individual bedroom, so plenty of personal space.
A little about what I’m looking for:
Around 22–28 (not a strict requirement)
Chill, respectful and easygoing
Into films, music, art, culture and generally exploring interesting things
Vegetarian is a must
Someone who’s clean and considerate about shared spaces

💰 Expected individual rent: around ₹15–18k/month, but we can try to optimise this depending on the flat.

📍 Location: Open to options anywhere along the Trans-Harbour line, preferably within walking distance of a railway station. Airoli, Rabale, Ghansoli, Koparkhairane, Seawoods, Belapur, Kharghar etc. all work.
If this sounds like your vibe, DM me and we can figure out the rest! :)

I built something to make choosing a property location easier, would love some feedback

I’ve been working on a product called GridScoro, based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), and wanted to share it here and get some honest feedback.

The idea came from a simple problem:
The data is already there but it’s scattered.

If you’re looking to buy a home or invest in property, you might want to know about connectivity, schools, hospitals, safety, infrastructure, development, livability, and future growth of an area.

The information exists, but finding it often means checking multiple websites, maps, government sources, property portals, and other datasets and then trying to make sense of everything yourself.

That’s what I’m trying to solve with GridScoro.
You can select an area and get a broader picture of the location by bringing different parameters together, scoring them, and allowing you to compare different areas side-by-side.

The idea isn’t to tell you “buy property here.” It’s to help you answer questions like:
Is this area actually worth considering?
How does it compare with another locality?
What are the strengths and weaknesses of this location?
Am I overlooking something beyond the property itself?

While the initial focus is on people looking to buy property or invest, I think there could also be interesting applications for real estate professionals, developers, urban planners, and others working with location data.

I’m still in the beta stage, so I’m posting this more for feedback than promotion. I’d especially love to hear from people who have recently searched for a property or made a real estate investment:
What information did you wish you had before making your decision?

If you’re curious, you can check it out at GridScoro.com.

Would genuinely appreciate any feedback - good, bad, or critical.

No One Remembered My Birthday

Just saw some posts regarding " aaj mujhe koi birthday wish nhi kiya " . So let me tell you my story.

So I belong to a very middle class bengali family.

We used to celebrate birthdays as kids by just making kheer at home and didn't invite anyone .

Later , when I grew up , I went to school and there I got friends. I promise my friends never remembered my birthday. It was just my parents who always remembered and wished me . Regarding friends ,in school we used to give treats to our small group. But whenever any other guy had a birthday, everyone wished him first because they all remembered their birthday. But whenever it used to be my birthday, I used to give treats to the group then they used to figure out that it's my birthday.

I always wish my friends on their birthday but they never remembered my birthday .

And currently I am in an IIT here also , my group is so small that no one remembered my birthday and I didn't tell anyone either .no one to offer me gpl here, cut cake with me . That's how it goes . Just be yourself, real ones will always be with you .

And filhaal to college mai hu to kheer bhi naseeb nhi hoti 💔

Edit: bhai aaj mera birthday nhi ha , maine bs likh diya ... Thanks though 😭❤️

This is concerning !

Recently, I noticed a drastic increase in my electricity bill in the Seawoods area. There are only two people living in my house me and my mom and our usual electricity usage is pretty basic: fans, TV, laptops, and a fridge during the daytime. We don’t have an AC, and we rarely use a cooler. Usually, our bill is around ₹600–₹700, and even during months when we used the cooler a lot, it would go up to around ₹1,200. But last month, I received a bill of around ₹1,300 even though we barely used the cooler. This month, it has increased to around ₹1,800, despite us still not using the cooler or an AC.

I know ₹1,800 might not seem extremely high compared to some households, but the sudden increase is what concerns me. Going from normally paying ₹600–₹700 to nearly ₹2,000 is almost a 3× increase.

Beware Guys new scam near Ghansoli Station

I work near Auram Qpark and Travel from Thane to Ghansoli everyday at 1pm, it's a US Shift.

Just outside station near bus stand two guys will be there and one of them will have a phone whose glass will already be broken.

Suddenly before you realise he will come sideways touching you as you move forward he will drop his phone. Then he will start harassing and immediately ask for money and the other guy will step in creating panic.

This already happened with someone in my office and I didn't took it seriously then but please keep your eyes open while travelling there.

I wanted a honest opinion or discussion on the current mla of panvel who is also into education and infrastructure business.

  1. What exactly has he done that he is being elected decades after decades ?

  2. How did he influence/ make kharghar join the PMC rather than the NMMC?

  3. Some lore or story you can share

  4. If not him whom can we choose

I love my 1-year-old cat, but I'm struggling financially. Should I rehome him or find a way to manage?

This is Kito, my 1-year-old cat. ❤️ I adopted him when he was around 1 month old, and I've had him ever since.

I'm a student and currently not earning. I come from a financially difficult background, so I can mainly afford basic pet food, while chicken is only occasional. Recently, Kito has also started refusing his pet food, and people tell me he looks too thin. I really want to keep him healthy, but I honestly can't afford expensive food right now.

I'm thinking about getting a job and improving his diet, but I'm also considering temporary fostering if someone can provide better care until I'm financially stable. I don't want to give him away permanently because he's very attached to me and I've had him almost his whole life.

I need practical advice:

What is the cheapest nutritionally complete food for a 1-year-old cat?

Can boiled chicken/egg safely supplement his diet?

What should I do if he refuses his food?

I love Kito, but I don't want my attachment to come before his health. Please give me honest advice and affordable solutions, not just sympathy
