Just bought a Neewer Z2 and I've not been able to power it on. I'm assuming the issue is the battery as it continues to display red after being plugged in all night. I'm assuming it's meant to turn green at some point.

I've been charging via USB C into a wall socket using the cable that came with the flash and a Samsung plug. I've used this method to change other devices in the past. Switched to this morning to my own USB C cable to see if the cable is an issue. I also moved it to a new socket.

Is there a chance this battery is just very flat?

When I used to be a sony shooter, all my flashes were Godox, I have the AD400, AD200, V1, V1Pro, V860iii, and v480.
So when I switched to Canon mirrorless I started slowly by buying one Godox V1proC.
I need a second one, but the price seemed to have gone up since I last bought one, so I ended up getting a Neewer Z2ProC instead. It has similar power and it has a compatibility mode that lets me control it from a Godox trigger.
What I didn't anticipate is that I have found that the Godox V1proC when using on-camera (Canon R6ii) the TTL really isn't very reliable. Its often overexposed badly.
I then discovered that in the same conditions, same R6ii camera that the Neewer was actually doing great with TTL and exposing much better.
So I was wondering if anyone else noticed that the Neewer Z2proC seems to be a lot better for TTL on Canon mirorrless than the Godox ?
I also wonder why that is...?

I have the Video Micro II with the trss cable (black to grey) plugged into a usb-c adapter (grey end).

It doesn’t work if I plug the usbc in the neewer usb-c hub, but it works if I plug it directly into my phone.

I’m quite sure therefore it’s not the usbc adaptor since it works directly, but I need my phone’s plug for the hub for other stuff.

Any ideas why and what I could do for it to work?

Did this thing ever come out in the US? If so can someone point me to the link to buy it? Also if it didn't come out does anyone know where I can find a Bluetooth USB Transmitter that I can use with my NEEWER GL1C RGB Light because trying to connect it via Wifi is just not working in my current setup and using the 2.5 dongle doesnt get you all the controls in the Neewer Control Center app (windows) which I need in order to connect my light to my Stream deck
