Daniel Terry from the DFT Dungeon takes a seat at the breakfast table to breakdown the 2004 Zao album; "The Funeral of God." IN TIMES GONE PAST, Daniel would have sung THE LAST SONG FROM ZION. This time, Danger sees THE LESSER LIGHTS OF HEAVEN. Monster joins Daniel to PRAISE THE WAR MACHINE.
"This band belongs to me now."
"Everybody with their tight pants and stud belts doing karate in the middle of the youth room."
"That doesn't sound like something Hillsong would write a song about does it?"
"Zao...the IPA of music?"
"This is the last song from Zion. And Tampa!"
"#notmyzao."

Neurosis in partnership with the Firekeeper Alliance, a non profit dedicated to reducing suicide on the Blackfeet Reservation teamed up with film makers Bobby Cochran and Jason Nix to make a music video.
I don't think I'll be able to go to the show next week in Oakland at Thee Stork Club. I have two tickets. Anyone want to buy em for face value? I don't think it's sold out, but it would help me out. If it gets to the last minute and no one has taken em, I'll probably give them away
From the Roadburn socials: All bands that perform at Roadburn are woven into the festival’s history, but few have the presence and power to help truly define Roadburn. Neurosis is unquestionably such a band. With new album An Undying Love For A Burning World, claiming a spot in the upper echelons of the Neurosis discography, and having just performed their first show in almost seven years at Fire In The Mountains, we’re absolutely over the moon to be able to announce that Neurosis will return to Roadburn in 2027. They will perform two sets, the details of which will be revealed further down the line.
Testing new speakers and the structural integrity of my house.

So much better than the Neurot CD version.
I just purchased the strength and vision set and am thinking about selling the cds and other items from it and just keeping the vinyl.
Do you think this would sell well on eBay or Discogs or should I just keep everything while? I really would like to recoup some money and don’t listen to cds anymore.
I actually sold some OG Neurosis cds some years ago.
Hey, I know Neurosis is really private about this sort of thing, but does anyone know if I buy old albums, are royalties still going to Scott Kelly? Of course, I coud stick to the secondhand market, but would like to buy new, if possible so the other members get paid.
Can't believe i got this. I paid a great price for it and it came in great shape all things considered. I don't know what the bands stance is on it (and I can't imagine they have much money to do it these days) but I hope they get around to releasing the older albums-not just on vinyl. I love Neurosis
Released August 7th 2001, one of my absolute favorite albums.
i was recently listening to this early 90s band from Humboldt County called The Jolly Ho Ho's.
they managed to put out one LP, which was a miracle for punk bands from that area at that time.
anyways the notes on the record say,
"Recorded in Berkley, California, sometime in `93 by Noah."
not sure if this is the same Noah..?
i am not sure there were any other noahs in berkeley at the time recording nor-cal punk bands 🤔
anyone have any ideas?
one tiny clue, the band's singer was Daniel Sea's brother, Payson
