I can get tfw seat in Lloyd college but I want to ask how it is like placement opportunities are there....is decent or not ....kyuki I don't have options of any good college and I have to pay their high fees so can I take admission into lloyd just for tfw

yoo so i hv gotten myself into btech cse international program recently, my cllg will be starting in august. I need to maintain 8.5+ cgpa overall the years cuz of future plans. I wanna ask how yall can recommend me to start over from first year from past experience, like on what to focus and easy ways to gain em. also how safe is it and how r the students and everything. Also like how strict is it? How many assignments and tests we get and how are the exams. I really appreciate any info!!!

So i got 77.4% in class 12th . Then my friends told it will impact ur interviews and placement in college. Then in josh i also thought i must apply for improvement in one of the subject and suppose if i work even little hard my marks would go up by 13 that means above 80% which will appear in marksheet like its okay .But i also got 93.6%in 10th so whey recruiters will see that he was very well in 10th and got worse in 12th or there is huge decrease in marks will this create a trouble in placement in niet ? Should i appy for it will be worth it for 320 rupees ?

Also or i leave what has been my past. I should focus on my future like project , any skills , cgpa in college, cv or resume etc ? Or with good cgpa , skills , project and all that stuff i be able to crack good placement? Plz rply

How will I get to know my admission status

What are the chances that cutoff is going to same as last year or will be more leneint than previous year ?

OR the cut off will rise as 2024 ?

I have recently completed my 3rd year at NIET Greater Noida, and since many students ask about placements, I wanted to share my experience.

Placement Scenario

- During my 3rd year, TCS visited the campus and hired around 475 students.

- Many more companies are still expected to visit during the placement season.

- Companies such as Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, Coforge, HCL, and L&T are also expected to visit, along with other recruiters.

- Both mass recruiters and product-based companies visit the campus.

What Should Students Focus On?

If you are studying at NIET or planning to join, you should have a basic understanding of:

- Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA)

- Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs)

- Database Management System (DBMS)

These subjects are not very difficult if you stay consistent and put in regular effort.

College Support

- The college conducts training sessions, placement preparation programs, and various skill-development activities.

- From my experience, the college is making genuine efforts to help students get placed.

- However, students also need to work on their own skills and preparation.

The Most Important Thing: Interviews

- Technical knowledge is important.

- Aptitude is important.

- But interview performance is often the deciding factor in getting selected.

Comparison with Other Colleges

- In my opinion, NIET offers better placement opportunities than many colleges in the region.

- GL Bajaj is one of the few colleges that can be considered a strong competitor in terms of placements.

My Final Thoughts

If you are thinking about joining NIET, I believe it is a good college. The college provides opportunities, placement support, and a platform for students to grow. I also feel that the college is improving every year and will become even better in the coming years.

At the end of the day, placement depends on both the college and the student's efforts. If you focus on DSA, OOPs, DBMS, communication skills, and interview preparation, you will have a good chance of securing a placement.

I am from prayagraj I want to do btech and my CRL is 593k and ews so I can get pvt colleges in noida ghaziabad and kanpur and i have options of united College in my city so which will we better option because I have to live in hostel in both places but yeah united charges are less compared to better city colleges but don't know about placements..... So which will be better option for me.....I know many of you once would have been in this type of situation.....so pls help me

I messed up my 12th marks and I wanted to maintain a good cgpa in college (9cgpa compulsory). Cuz I wanted to give CAT.

Now I do have other options like IT in gl bajaj but I've heard ill of aktu markings and that maintaining a 9cgpa there is extremely difficult. Im so confused rn.

Should I join SRM (ghaziabad) or parul university? Ive heard its comparatively easier to score a 9cgpa there. (Parul even has the same fee as niet)

In NIET I am getting CSE Cs in the name of Core . Should I choose it ? Or should I go for AI/ML ?and what's the difference between CSE CORE AND CSE CS

Hi guys , my first year at niet was horrible and it became more horrible as I didn't have much guidance , in this post I would be sharing tips and tricks to pass first year at niet with worst attendance policy college

1. First thing guy's remember ki college late join mat karna, ghar pe rehke apna homesickness door karne ki wjh se college Wale tumhara jeena mushkil kr denge , first day se college jaana taaki time aane pe chutti le Sako

"You can take 3 leaves in a month , matlab lagbhag 4 din college jaana prega mostly"

2. College jaate hi jab first chapter khatam hoga ,tumhara ek exam lenge jisko sessional kehte hai , aur usse phle weekly testly, issly class mein dhyaan de dena. , aur Thora thora padhte rehna

3.Itne weekly test wagera lenge ki tum exhaust ho jaaoge issly college late join mat karna taaki burnout hone par chutti le Sako

4. For girls - beware of boys and creepy seniors ( no offense to good seniors present) For boys- chase genuine friends ( wo baat alag hai yha nhi hai)

5.HOSTEL- niet ka hostel ekdum bekaar hai ,issly private hostel bhi dekh lena , bhot restrictions hai 6 bjhe baad bahar ni nikal skte, kahi bahar jaana hai toh warden se sign karwaao application, parents se baat karwaao phir jaane dete hai , issly private hostel ,pg wagera dekh skte ho

6- internal marks k liye assignment kar lena

7- WARNING- agar tum attendance nhi maintain karoge aur iss post ko halke mein loge toh baad mein regret karoge jab dean group mein tumahara naam bejhega aur kahega these students have to attend extra classes

8- tum college se beech mein uthke nhi jaa skte , warna uske liye application likh ke parents se baat karwaana parega , aur dean ki sign pe jaane denge

9- extra subject mein FRENCH, Japanese, GERMAN hai kya lena hai decide kar lena

10- coding ke liye python daily daily aadhne -1 ghante doge toh acha honaayega kuki class start hone ke ek do mahine baad python ki class hogi issly phle se padh lena jinko nhi aata ho

After seeing the price hike laptops , I have decided to wait till September ( for Big billion and prime day sales ) . Should I wait till September last or should I buy in July ?? Please help .

Why the fuck is reporting time is so closed after seat allotment

I may get NIET CSE (Collaboration/International Twinning Program) with a Fee Waiver (FW) through UPTAC, and I'm trying to decide whether I should choose it.

I have a few questions:

1. Is the Collaboration/International Twinning Program worth choosing over regular CSE?

2. Does it have the same placements as regular CSE, or do companies treat it differently?

3. Is the twinning/international semester optional or compulsory?

4. If I get a Fee Waiver (FW) seat, do I still have to pay the additional Twinning Program fee, or is it also waived? I've seen the college fee structure includes a separate twinning program charge, so I'm confused.

5. If I don't go abroad, will I still have to pay any twinning-related fees?

I'm mainly interested in becoming a software engineer, and my family's budget is limited, so the fee waiver is an important factor.

I'd really appreciate replies from current NIET students or alumni who have firsthand experience with this program.
