I am from UP and I have all the answers of all queries which is currently running in your mind because before coming to nit Agartala I searched all the things , which college is best , prediction of the college and obviously what exactly scenerio of colleges
I kinda messed and fucked up my adv exam . I got 40k gen ews rank and meta ai and chat gpt says I'll get nit Agartala. Idk I'm not too sure. I'm from hyd. Getting ne nits and nit pondi etc. getting all core branches. Fucked up EAMCET exam due to health issues. I js have mains rank in my hands. Wrote bits but not upto mark. So pls suggest me if I should move to nit Agartala? From hyd? Or should I settle in 3rd tier local colleges? PLEASE HELP SENIORS 🙏🏻
How is the climate in Agartala throughout the year? What facilities does the institute provide to cope with unfavourable weather conditions (if any)?

My questions are:
How was the placement for EIE in 2025. what was the average and highest ctc offered?
How easy is it to branch change from eie to ece or to cse?
How is the faculity in eie? Are they chill?
Is the college developing or regressing in terms of placements and infrastructure?
Thank you to anyone answering : )
Getting ece/ eie/ ee in this clg. which branch should I consider in terms of placements and faculties...( considering that i might take a partial drop)
I wanted to ask senior's of NIT Agartala? I am getting EE and EIE , how tough is it to change branch from EE/EIE to ECE. I specifically want ece ...should i take EE at NIT Agartala and try for branch change or should i go with IIITs ECE ...I am also getting BIT mesra ECE but the fees is too high and also i have heard lot of negative reviews of ECE at BIT MESRA...Also I may get RVCE ETE (just assuming ,COMEDK result are not our yet)

I’m 20 years old and currently in 2nd year at a low-tier private engineering college. I’m considering taking admission in a tier-2 NIT, most likely Engineering Physics.
Current situation:
- High fees, financial burden on parents
- Living in rent + stressful daily travel
- Family/health responsibilities at home
- Don’t like current college environment
- Placements are weak (~2–3 LPA)
My goals:
- Mainly govt jobs (PSC/SSC etc.)
- But open to private jobs too
- Want better environment, lower pressure, NIT tag, stronger peer group
The dilemma:
Some friends say:
“You already completed 2 years. Why waste 2 more years restarting?”
But my current college also doesn’t offer strong placements or exposure.
I talked with EP seniors from that NIT:
- Batch size ~16–19
- Around 3–6 students get placements
- Many go for higher studies/govt exams
- Seniors said students who seriously prepare usually manage placements
- Avg package around 6–7 LPA
There’s also branch change after 1st year based on high CGPA, but it’s competitive and uncertain.
So should I:
Stay and finish my degree in 2 years
OR
Restart at a tier-2 NIT for better environment/exposure despite losing 2 extra years?
Need realistic opinions, not motivation.
