Loot goblins

I'm done with people speed running everything and hoarding all the meds. I'm begging for heals on voice chat and text chat, and noone is willing to share. While I die with a guy who was helping me I see 3 or 4 guys constantly using bandages and medkits and spamming with guns. Fuk is this, where is the coop aspect, so freaking selfish. Knew its gonna get sweaty soon man....

We just successfully extract from Raven rock hard. Only 2 because half the lobby was below level 8.

And this has to stop, this is not normal.

Huge gg to you random buddy if you stop by here, it was incredibly stressful but we made it out together.

Two players of the lobby were level 1 (!!!) and they were dead before the 6th minute of the game. How in earth is it even possible that players who don't know the game AT ALL are able to join an hard lobby ? This is ruining the experience for all the team.

Please devs, do something for this. We both made it out but usually it's not like this. We were 2 since the command room after staying in the 3 lights and we got the heli extract.

Hope something will be done because this isn't at all "Learning the game".

I’ve had some time off work and downloaded this game last Friday evening to play in my free time. Never played the NMRIH series before. Safe to say, I’m loving every minute of it!

Ammo is scarce, why tf is everyone just wasting it in the first 5-10 minutes of the match?

Just confused; as a new Xbox player, I figured out pretty fucking fast that ammo is a bit of a commodity, especially if you have a lot of teammates that like to hoard or are all using the same ammo types.

Yet damn-near EVERY game, early on when it's the easiest part of the match, all I can hear is "BAM BAM BAM BAM" as my teammates burn through their ammo in situations where it's just not necessary. When you're getting surrounded, it's a different story.

I'm still a noob ofc, but my understanding is that it's best to save your bullets for late in the match when shit gets REALLY hectic, so (assuming I'm correct there), why in the fuck are so many players constantly going John Rambo as soon as they spawn in?

Everyone's just being careless with their ammo, which I've heard also causes more zombies to spawn in due to the gunshot noise. Is it the other new players being THAT stupid or...?

PSA: Pick up the blue supplies for more XP and currency.

The blue colored supplies do not take any inventory space and directly increase your XP and the teams currency gain after mission finish.

So many times i see most of the lobby having like 50 supplies each when i have +400, which almost seems just like misclicks when looting the "fun stuff".

You can easily get massive responder XP boosts and currency increases by just keeping eyes out for the blue stuff, especially the bigger items. Got like 1200 currency from a normal run just because we went over double the required mission supplies (normally its some hundreds).

No need to go out of your way to search for them (or if it causes danger) as most of these you come across directly on your path so picking them up is not really a big deal.

Why are some people not using pills/gene therapy that they have in their inventory and turn into a zombie ?

Hey everyone,

First of all many thanks for the huge feedback I received with my thread about tips for all. Hope it will help you a lot.

Back to the topic because it happened 3 times since yesterday.

- Hard lobby, a lvl 27 got infected and for some reason never asked anything and turned into a zombie inside one of the broadway's shops. When I killed him, not only he had 2 bottles of pills, but he had... The gene therapy too. What-the-fuck

- Same in normal lobby lewiston, a guy turned into a zombie while we were on the last objectives for the boat. He had the gene therapy in his backpack.

- An hour ago in Beaulieu hospital normal lobby, a dude lvl 32 (!) turned into a zombie, when I killed him he had... 4 bottle of pills in his backpack.

Seriously lads, what the fuck ? I literally have no explanation for that lol Especially because the 2 guys who died in normal lobby respawned

For information :

- Pills DO NOT CURE the infection, they just reset the timer and you have 3 pills per bottle. Take the pills when the veins show up on your screen. DO NOT TAKE ALL PILLS AT THE SAME TIME.

- The gene therapy can cure you, use it 1 time as it will take some of your blood to build the cure. And inject it while it's ready (little timer)

Have a nice day all,

Spawn Rate of Zombies

Haven't seen an in-depth discussion or proof regarding the spawn rate of zombies.. finding on normal mode that the spawn rates of zombies is sometimes off the charts.. is this due to sound of weapons or?

I've seen some people says it's time related in which the longer you spend on the map, the more zombies spawn? I've seen the infection level plays a part in this but there seems to be conflicting information on this sub..

Does anyone have any definitive evidence or source?

I'm going to buy the Deluxe Edition for PS5, What am I going to see?

I've been playing on PC for 2 years at 30 FPS, I'm going to switch to PS5 hoping for 60 FPS (I've seen gameplay videos and I've seen that it runs at 60).

What should I expect from this version? Is it good? Is it worth it? And how does the game itself play on PS5?

fantastic game but I'd like to see head options added for characters that actually resemble the voice actors and I'd like the characters to say something that actually resembles the option chosen via the dialogue wheel

Really liking this game but these are small gripes of mine, more so the voice lines for the chosen dialogue option ad it does actually effect gameplay some. The amount of times I've tried to say thank you to other players and my character has said everything except "thank you" is a bit annoying. Especially in a game where communication is so important.

Thank you for coming to my Zed talk.

Don't be afraid to step up

As many of us know, there are some teams that are VERY poorly composed, and some teams where the cooperation makes it seem like you're playing Darktide slaughtering everything in front of you with ease.

Well, I decided to take it a step down and chill out on a normal run which landed me on hospital, and it put me with a team that was NOT composed. I think only one other person used VoIP? We lost 2 or 3 before activating the air filter in the courtyard and when the processing unit started and the horde came, the remaining team wasn't even in the courtyard anymore.. I was just about to take early evac. Then I just decided... Let me see if I can rally these boys for one last good push.

Well, I VoIP'd and basically told them to rally up in courtyard and get ready to fight. Rally up and cover each other with these air filters. Cover cover cover cover. And by some fucking miracle, the team slowly started to get cohesion. The dude on the other side of the map was back and giving cover to another person carrying the filter - it was glorious.

After that, I basically said next part is standing and fighting in the square etc etc (if you know the hospital map you know the chain of events) and I just said "stick together, STAND AND FIGHT INNNNNNNNN THE SQUARE" I said that condescendingly because I have previously had teammates just run away.. well it clicked and we actually had a surprisingly big horde attempt to get us which got cut down fast.

At this point the team went from barely hanging on and almost dead, to full health, stacked, and unstoppable. Couple people went down at the very end in the morgue, but we picked them up and finished objectives, and successfully extracted with no more deaths.

Playing with strangers as a solo can sometimes be an infuriating experience, but sometimes all it takes is just one person to just rally people and coordinate. Just being that "voice" in a game where not everyone is using a mic can make the difference between things going south right off the rip, to the full lobby just death balling everything in front of them by just ONE voice.

Fun fact... don't stand too close to falling supply drops 😃

If you stand too close to a supply drop as it's hitting the ground, your lvl.50 character dies and they're gone forever... I wasn't even under it. I was beyond pissed hahahaha

Do you guys there there is any remnant of the person in a zombie?

I keep hearing zombies crying and a few even laughing. It makes me wonder if some portion of their humanity remains.
