Ritual Error - New Slime [angular post-hardcore/noise-rock - new album!]
Hey folks. I play in a noise-rock/post-hardcore band called Ritual Error in the UK. We just announced our second album, Terminal with Benefits. Here's the first single from the album, with a trippy video made by a mate.
Not entirely sure what we sound like: we enjoy Drive Like Jehu, Shellac, Ten Grand/The Vidablue, Clikatat Ikatowi, McLusky, USA Nails, but also weirdo hardcore like Die Kreuzen and Saccharine Trust.
Sharing here as we play a lot of shows but are generally pretty lazy with promo! Hoping some of you might dig.

self-recorded debut from a band of 21-year-olds in Taipei
Hi everyone, we’re Acid Brain (酸腦) from Taipei, Taiwan. We started this band back in high school, and this is our first full-length album — recorded entirely by ourselves in our rehearsal room and bedrooms.
It blends post-rock, noise rock and stoner, with a 16-minute three-act desert epic at its core. We got to work with some amazing guests, and it was mastered by Soichiro Nakamura (Boris).
Hope you enjoy it: https://bfan.link/Heptam%C3%A9ron
STONER BRASS DOOM! You haven't heard this before!

I am continuing to work on a new project...
I remind you that there is no music created using artificial intelligence here. Only live guitar, bass. The working wind instruments were made using VST, but there is already an agreement to record a saxophonist and a trumpeter! Good luck to all!

lambgoat.comQuestion for guitarists in the genre
I'm starting to make solo stuff and I want to do a noise rock/post hardcore kinda thing. I really like bands like Mclusky, Metz, Hammerhead, Jesus Lizard, Jawbox, Unwound, Refused, etc.
My question: I'm a drummer traditionally trying to pickup the guitar. I want to know, what kinda of chords are used in noise rock and what techniques are utilized? Do you just kinda make up your own chords to get the sound you want or do you use traditional chords more often? And what kind of effects do you typically use?
Thanks!

Uzeda - does anyone have any info on their guitar tone?

Any info is much appreciated!

youtu.beWho has the harshest vocals?
I’ve been revisiting Motherfucker, I am Both: “Amen” and “Hallelujah” … and I can’t get over how raw Alexander Kent’s lyrics are. It doesn’t sound like some calculated metal vocals, but like someone genuinely having a mental breakdown screaming, destroying their vocal cords, lol.
Who else should I listen to? I’ll say for reference, cause the genre gestapo will say it’s Death Industrial, that I love Margaret Chardiet (Pharmakon)‘s vocals (side note, she screamed in my face before and it was awesome).
Can we talk about Laughing Hyenas? And one of the only female Noise rock legends on guitar? I may be wrong but please let me know if there’s another.. definitely influenced by Poison Ivy so I get that

London based band looking for singer!
Hi there guys!
We’re currently a three-piece psychedelic/blues rock band with a sound influenced by artists like Jimi Hendrix, Queens of the Stone Age, The Velvet Underground, and Led Zeppelin, with subtle Afrobeat and funk undertones.
We’re primarily looking for a lead vocalist who can match our bold, high-energy style—someone in the vein of Cameron Winter or Ozzy Osbourne.
We’re also open to bringing on a rhythm guitarist to help fill out our sound and give the lead guitarist more creative freedom. If you can play and sing, that’s a huge bonus.
Cheers.
