Hey nubs, I hear you like dropping balls - balls with faces, that are alive, and can feel pain - onto pegs to earn points.

I'm making a nubby-like game. Ballisticards is a roguelite deckbuilder with physics jammed into it. I think that my fellow nubs will enjoy it, and the mods have allowed me to share this little bit of self-promo with you.

I love Nubby, and I'm thinking of ways to include a "Nubby homage" in the game. I'm leaning towards Finger Puppet. Or - dare I dream - Nubby himself as a playable ball?! Suggestions are welcome.

I can't reach the peak modern graphic stylings of MogDogBlog, so instead I had to settle for hand-drawing everything with a stylus.

Nubby Trials balancing

So... Is it just me or is the balancing in the Nubby Trials a bit off? I was stuck on level two for so long, but level 3 took me only four tries.

It's mobile version harder?

I played a few hours on PC, reaching 1.7 trillion record and when I found out there was a mobile version I wanted to play that version also, but I can't get any more than 10 thousand points. Maybe I'm tripping but the pegs are organized in a unfair way? Nubby has suicidal thoughts and bounces different? I don't know what's happening but it feels weird to me, maybe it's bad ported?

Anyone else wish the game had a speed setting?

Love this game, but it feels so slow sometimes, especially when I only have a moment to play. Wish it had a speed slider like Balatro and even Peglin. Using cheat engine at the moment and that works pretty well, also lets me set the speed to like 500x and just skip to round 80 whenever I get a god build on the 10th round (if I so desire).

Challenge Idea:

So basically, I had an idea for a new challenge inspired by CHIMPS from BTD6. In this challenge, you would have:

Only one life,

The amount of coins you can earn per round is capped at 6,

No upgrading, moving or selling items,

No perks (not too sure on that one because idk if the game could be beatable)

No food items

Nubby Trial 1 complete (mobile)

I know there’s no achievements but I’m determined to 100% the mobile version, but it really was nice to finish the first nubby trial, now for the other 4. And the remaining challenges.

Steam cant stop the game even though i stopped playing it

Steam still thinks im playing it even though i exited the game, it just says stopping
