Hello again, Nubs.

A few months ago I posted here about my Nubby-inspired brick-breaking roguelite, Buster Breaks Out. The game is now officially out in 1.0, and I wanted to follow up with one particularly important addition:

Nubby himself is now in the game as Nub Ball, an upgrade which has a very NNF-lite number-merging mechanic.

Thanks again to Mog for being super cool, inspiring the game, and for letting this whole thing come full circle with an actual approved Nubby™️ cameo :)

Is there a mod that makes mario homer, or maybe makes LUIGI homer?

managed to have all the stars align after 6ish hours on and off. i honestly don’t know what i would do if I didn’t have an upgraded laser pointer. i got an extra mannequin head using a tri-bagel which was the cherry on top. i enjoyed finding the right strategy for me to use but its a shame its just so tedious since you can get unlucky with peg placement and just lose at any time.

Now it’s triggering this every single level it’s gonna take so long.

I find it quite amusing that the hardest part of Trials 5 is the two lives limit, if you get unlucky shuffling pegs thats the run over. I'll be happy to go back to regular runs to farm stars for the last few achievements!!!

My strat ended up being: Reset runs at first shop if no Turtle or Cheese House, pick up either of these and you have a run started. By the end of my runs I ended up hard building for Mannequin Head as I tried all the other Black Market items to little success. Fly seems to work for a lot of people but again, if your pegs are unlucky, gg. The biggest difference maker in this run versus others was the lazer, this helped massively in the hardest period of the challenge of surviving till the second Black Market.

lemme know if anyone has seen a faster one I need to beat?

Shouldn't I only have around 9 nubbies? Or do the extra triggeres from the squid and glass tony make every newly spawned nubby also birth two copies of themselves?
