Best graffiti / industrial / weird spots in NYC?
Visiting NYC solo from the UK, 15–20 September, and I’m really into graffiti, street art, old industrial areas and generally weird/forgotten parts of cities. I’m on a pretty tight budget so I’m especially interested in stuff that’s free.
Any spots/neighbourhoods I absolutely shouldn’t miss? Also interested in interesting abandoned-looking places like rooftops/viewpoints, old infrastructure etc. Not really looking for the standard tourist recommendations.

Some gems from NYC this past weekend.
Big fucking props to Zoot and Wombat because they have to be the names I saw the most. They are dedicated to the craft and the spots they hit give me chills thinking about the risks they take to get up.
I wonder if they know they have middle aged fanboys from far away places?
I spotted that Neck Face tag and yelped like I saw the man himself.
