The cells in the picture looked like screaming mudokon heads, so I had to add Abe's heads on them a while back xD
it’s insane how I played this game as a little boy not knowing what it symbolized and now I’m playing the game fr 😂😂😂😂
All right guys !
Franklin the Elum is coming along nicely... the gaps and overlaps between the parts are perfect, as planned and designed in ZBrush... I'm so happy and hyped for what's next !
PS: Don't mind the difference in color, I simply switched to a higher quality resin.
PPS: for the 3D printers in the sub, the release is coming soon so... Stay tuned !
It seems like the most diehard collectors are European. It also seems like Europe gets a larger share of the Oddworld merchandising scene and pop culture crossovers. What gives?
If anyone is wondering pretty much everything moves on him which is awesome.
Been a while again since I posted something about this Oddworld fangame, but it looks like its taking shape as I wanted. Maybe Oddtale will release this year but im not sure about it.
If someone missed/doesn't know what this game is, This is a fangame called Oddtale:Last Mystery (in short Oddtale) and I am the main creator of it (CrowCrew). This Game is mix between two games; Undertale and Oddworld of course.
Also as I already talk about it, here are another 5 screenshots from the game!
First piece of the project ! Main body of Franklin the Elum ! 2L Oasis tropical bottle for scale (i didn't have banana 🍌 for scale, sorry)
✌🏻😗
Edit: I'm unable to change the title unfortunately, been informed that the initial name for these guys is similar to an American slur for Japanese folk. Had no idea as im not American. I've been thinking of calling them Waggitz, as in Wage Rabbits. Thoughts?
In the furthest east regions of Oddworld, you'll come across bustling cities populated by these critters. They once lived their life as happy go lucky rabbit-like creatures who are all about playing games, having fun, being social, laughing, smiling, resting well, and enjoying life to its fullest. However nowadays thanks to their country making frequent demanding trade deals with the Magog Cartel overseas, the moment they're old enough, they are forced into business schools operated by Chroniclers to learn the salary life, and soon afterwards forced to seek office jobs where they work for 16 hours a day at minimum. They abandon their social lives, playtime, sleep schedules, and just about everything they consider "fun". They work away in the office, climbing false ladders until they are old and grey, to which they retire from work and do nothing until they die. They live relatively short lives, around 20 years, and this short life is generally uneventful.
Retirement is the end goal for them, as they spend their whole lives working towards it, but by the time they've worked long enough to retire they're often too old and tired to play or have fun with their lives, and they typically just look for more work to keep themselves busy until they bite the dust as it's all they come to know. They are considered more expendable the lower on the corporate ladder they are. They are often born into large families, but they barely get a chance to know them. Their social culture encourages mothers to marry young and have many children so that the many children will all become wage earners for the greedy corporate world. If you're in East Oddworld and desperate for a cheap meal, follow these fellas. They know where to get dinner on a budget after work hours.
Design of these creatures is heavily inspired by Farzad V.'s work.
What do you guys like more from a aestetic perspective?
New and Tasty looks good, no discussion on that. But for some reason I like the original more. I cant put my finger on it. I think its because of the 3D models looking to "clean".

I’d love to see anyone else’s creations too 🥲
So I built a vector based drawing tool and decided the way I would test it out is by tracing over this very beloved image as a reference.
Took me a good hour to get to a standard im happy with (minus code changes to add more useful features during testing).
What do 'all ya think? I know the chin/neck is a bit sharp but keep in mind its vector based.
So a few days I had a realization, nothing too crazy but I thought I'd share it here.
I was thinking about what the Oddworld names meant, and when I thought about 'Ma'Spa', I realized it meant
Ma, as in Mother
Spa, as in spa
Ma'Spa is the birthing ground of all gabbits, female gabbits produce the eggs, male gabbits fertilize them, and then when the eggs are put into the pools of Ma'Spa, they hatch
Ma'Spa, is the mother of all Gabbits, making it literally the Gabbit Queen.
But if it was just that I wouldn't talk about it
22 December 1999, Paul'O Connor Munch's Oddysee Designer Diary Part 3:
"...But what about Munch and Abe? Don’t they have moms, too? Sure they do! You see, Abe’s mom is part of this secret experiment that…
What? You want to hear about Munch? Sure. Munch may think he’s the last of his kind, but really ….
Whoops! Out of space for this month! Shucks, you’ll just have to play the game to find out more!"
Really? Really what??
But really... He still has a mother, a gigantic monolithic structure, the source of the Mongo River, mother of all Gabbits, Ma'Spa.
